I scheduled a free weekend three weeks in advance and scheduled an appointment with a highly reviewed provider. I confirmed the date and the time 4 times. Two weeks before, 1 week before, day before and the day of when I got the address etc.

When I showed up she canceled and said she did not have my phone number to call me and let me know. I was really bummed as I had scheduled this date so far in advance and had really been looking forward to it.

If I would have had some notice I could have made other plans, but as it was I was far from home, my computer etc....

My question is......do I put this in the providers review? I am fairly new to this so I am not sure what proper etique is......That being said.....it really fucked up my free weekend which I do not get many of.

why she cancelled?  Sometimes real life stuff gets in the way of play time (I know, her job).  If she doesn't give you an acceptable answer, you can post on your regional board re. the NS.

A great lesson in why you need to have a plan B and sometimes C ready to go.

Since you didn't actually spend time together, I don't think you can write a review.

What you have to realize is that these ladies have real lives and stuff cums up once in a while.  Or they may get a better offer for that particular time.  Who knows.  Best thing to do (and I learned this from a friend of mine) is when you are traveling, have at least three or four different ladies you would be intersted in seeing and keep their contact info with you, that way, if one falls out, pick up the phone and call the next one, or the next one.

Hell you may even get really lucky and be able to see all of them (over the course of the weekend).

Then, you can sit down and get busy writing those reviews.

A phone is important...  I give my hobby phone number to a lady so she'll know who is calling.

But a plan B is always a good thing.

The first question I would have is why didn't she have your number?  As disappointing as getting canceled on is it does happen.  Always be sure the lady has a phone number for you.

No offense but providers don't really care how many hoops you have to go through to get a day off. They also can't help it if their period comes early or some other real-life situation pops up at the last minute. Always have a plan B especially if time-off is that hard to come by.

Five or six years ago I got stood-up through a communication error. I called my favorite local agency and they fixed me up with a gal who ended up becoming one of my all time favorite ladies.

I always give the girl my cell number, just to avoid the problem you had.  If it's a hobby phone, what's the harm?  I give them my number so they know when I am calling for the room number, they know it's me.

to confirm...

I did have a plan B, which I canceled because this was as confirmed as you can be.

I understand that life issues come up, but this was not a life issue. She just got back to me and told me that she "confused" me with someone else and they ended up taking my appointment.

Uh, yea

So basically, you were her "Plan B" but her "Plan A" didn't fall thru. So Plan A got the goods, you got the booby prize.

She didn't really believe you were gonna show up, so she set up another appointment at the same time. She kept stringing you along, in case the other guy didn't show. When he DID show up, she canceled with you.

Thus exposing a flaw to the entire concept of making appointments far in advance. Many providers will gladly take an appointment for days/weeks in the future, but don't really believe it's going to happen.

Kind of like Car Rental companies!

just didnt expect it from such a highly rated (and priced) provider...not seeing hacks on CL ya know.
