I did the hobby briefly, I still have my doubts

I still have three main issues with the hobby.  I admit there is a certain thrill.  But, I am kind on the fence on these issues.  Probably 30% for and 70% against it.

Could you tell me, where I am going wrong.  Note, this is after using TER.

In order of my issues.

1. No matter how much research I do, isn't there still the chance that a provider has turned and possibly working with LE to catch hobbyists?  Maybe the reviews are fake on TER?

2. Health?  When a provider has reviews dating back to 2006-2007.  And she has 100+ reviews? I mean come on?  That is a health risk.

3. Exploiting women.  Can't I feel a little bad that an 19-20 year old woman has to make money doing this?  This person could come from a broken home, got involved in drugs, sold into some kind of trade.  And the hobbyist might be encouraging that problem.

I could be wrong with my concerns, that is I brought the questions here.  Maybe I am seeing the hobby through the eyes of a newb.

First, you are not wrong with your concerns. They are all legitimate. Yes, there is an inherent amount of risk if you partake in the hobby; being caught in an LE sting or contracting an STD are certainly among the bad things that could happen. You have to weigh the risk/reward factor. There are a great many things a hobbyist can do in order to minimize these risks. As stated here over and over again, if you see ladies with multiple recent reviews written by hobbyists who have written multiple reviews, the chances of that lady all of a sudden turning over to the dark side of LE are fairly slim...shouldn't be an issue. Are some reviews fake? Of course. But overall there is legitimacy in the process that should not steer you wrong.

Two, regarding STD's, personally, I trust providers more than I would the local bar whore who goes out every Friday/Saturday night to fuck a different guy. A great many ladies in this business are health conscience and take the necessary precautions to stay disease free. Is the system perfect? Far from it. Again, you can minimize your concerns by not partaking in certain activities (Deep French kissing, uncovered blow jobs, performing oral on the lady, etc.) Only you can make that choice and weigh the risk/reward.

Third, if you are that concerned about the exploitation of young women, then, don't see young women. If you can not get over the fact that you are having sex with an 18 year who you feel might be from a broken home or you perceive as someone who was forced into the hobby by an evil pimp, then you shouldn't be seeing these women. You may only be comfortable with older providers. That's fine. Many gentlemen do not see young women; they may have daughters around the same age or just prefer the company of a more polished lady.

If however, you feel that the hobby as a whole simply exploits all women (regardless of age) and that somehow a provider is not in the business because of her own free will and choice, then maybe the hobby is just not for you. That's a question only you can answer.

You're greatest issue is that you have to live with yourself. We don't. We cannot dictate conscience. You must establish your own moral compass(as Gambler would say). The hobby isn't for everyone. DO NOT listen to those who will encourage you to go "full steam ahead". If you think there's a possibility that you'll sit up nights with a barrel in your mouth, get the hell out now.

If indeed your percentages are correct then take a break for personal reflection.

This hobby is not for him, If one fear is assuaged, another will surface. Anyone going through this type of stress before dipping his wick into something strange will never feel 100% compfortable in this hobby. He will lose sleep over possible STD's, worry about black helicopters circling overhead ready to cart him off to prison, and he will never be convinced that any woman could actually like having sex with strange men for pay.

Let's face it, this hobby is not for everyone, and it certainly is not for the OP.

If you're not enjoying the hobby, then stop. Everyone hobbies at their own comfort level.
I can't talk you into doing this, if you're uncomfortable then simply stop. With all that said. Here's my responses to your issues
1, very small chance, LE will not write pages of reviews and go thru all that effort
2. Well reviewed providers take care of their health, remember it's how they make their living for the most part
3. I like the milf type, and don't see teenage hard bodies.

There will always be some risk.  Thoughtful use of available information including TER reviews minimizes the risk.

A provider who gets tested regularly & who consistantly practices safer is much less likely top transmit an STD than a civie who doesn't even test at her annual.  Her familiarity with protection makes errors much less likely.  Still not zero.  Zero = abstinance  Lowest = monogamy with bopth partners tested in advance.

Independant Providers who choose this profession are exercising their rights to live as they choose.
There are certain segments of this business which are more prone to exploitation...  I choose to avoid them.

You do have a choice.  This in not for everyone.  If it's not for you then, no harm, no foul.  You can make you decision based on knowledge.
Best Wishes,
skb

I share your concerns, to play it safe, make the trip to Nevada where its legal.

Id rather spend $2K on flight, whore, hotel etc., than spend $15-20K on a lawyer, medical bills to clear up an STD, not to mention the possibility of family and friends finding out your bangin hookers.

1. A provider with recent reviews from veteran hobbyists with numerous reviews is the closest thing to a sure thing that you can get here.

2. No more of a health risk than the girl you pick up in a bar, or at church or at the free clinic. lol. Providers learn to be very careful and take protection seriously.  I would bet that the STD rate among providers is much lower than that of their more promiscuous contemporaries.

3. Don't fool yourself.  Most of these girls are very capable of doing many other things, but CHOOSE to do this. Also, make sure you don't "prey" on the younger ones and see only the 30 somethings. Honestly, they are your best bet at a GFE anyway.

1. Yes. Especially if she works for an agency. When LE busts one, one thing they like to do is to go after the johns and scare them into testifying, and publically humiliate them as a future deterent to others. It destroys your life. All for a bit of strange pussy.

2. Since many sexworkers are not involved in a local hobby community, and are on their own, their safety practices may be uninformed or more relaxed. Nothing like explaining to your wife or GF where SHE got the hepes from, eh?

3. Three words: runaways hustlers & pimps. Don't let all the uppercrust hobbyiest and high-price call girls tell you different. BP & CL have surged in 18-20 girls, and these teens are often if not usually pimped. It's alive and well. I'm not proud to say this, but I am related to a young guy who 'keeps his pimp hand strong.' He's a rapper, hustler and "business manager" for several young "circuit girls."

It's just the way it is. You know what they say...
"You can put lipstick on a pig..."
But it's still 80QH 120HH 150HR

:( I'm not happy right now.

carefully.

Stay away from agencies, none English speakers and younger girls.

The real professionals here will show you the upside of the choice they have made. Some are supporting their families, other live gaudy lifestyles.

They get checked regularly and are always covered for FS.

Gotta go, but I sure you get where I am going with this.
