curious to know... should a provider show her face or not??? personally i like to be discreet and blur out just a bit of my facial attributes. If i did show my face would L.E know how to find me (**worried look**)???

I really doubt that LE could locate you from your face though, if they did find you, it would be confirmation.  Sure guys like to see your face but get real...  I think that a blurred face is a good thing...  you never know where life may take you.  Anything posted can come back to haunt you.  When you're happily retired, living on some sunny carib beach, do you want people to be able to recognize you?

Five, ten, twenty, thirty or more years down the road, do you mind having your face associated with this part of your life? Are you fully "out" to your family, friends, coworkers and classmates (if you have them) now? Will you mind anyone you meet in the future knowing this is what you do for a living?

If you're comfortable with all of that, then go ahead and include face pics. If you're not, or if you even have the slightest doubts, don't do it.

For me, the potential extra income is never going to be worth the risk. I and plenty of other ladies do just fine without having our faces known to the world.

while preserving your privacy

There are two ways to go about this:

1 - if you use nude shots on your site with face obscured, have a section on your page that requres a password, which you give out after someone has passed your screening, which shows face shots. OR be willing to email a portrait to a gent after he passes your screening.

OR

2 - if you use tasteful shots that show the face but no nudes on your site, have a password protected area that shows nudes.....

Note: not that it will keep you entirely in the clear, but: *do not* list "services" on your website . It is not illegal to advertise companionship....

actually its not about you, its about what shes comfortable with. Many woman who do not show their faces are busy with or without the business of the men who will not see them without a face shot.
Its a privacy issue and its best to move on if you are not happy with the way a woman chooses to run her business.
We are all well aware of what options we have in showing our faces or not and a choice either way was made on a personal basis.

but I can understand her unwillingness to have her feature's plastered all over the internet.

I would have to say it is a personal choice. If your sole reason is worrying about LE, my suggestion is to just make sure there are no references to "services provided" on your site. That can be much, much more damning in the eyes of LE than a picture of your face.

a few threads down, if you are going to show your face, please, please smile. Even if you don't show your face, a nice smile does show through in a slightly blurred picture. A nice smile can make any picture much more appealing.

that they understand our need for discretion. I think it's best to err on the side of caution when it comes to this lifestyle. No face pics.

Hope you find this forum helpful and best of luck!

I have seen some great photos of a lady where she was wearing huge sunglasses or a hat with a brim that covered part of her face.  You could still see the mouth (smile!) but probably would not recognize the lady in person.

Perhaps these would help?

A lady with long hair strategically placed can do wonders for shielding her true identity.

I have face shots all over my site, haven't had a problem, and WON'T have a problem, I screen all my clients, and that's important :)

No screening = Easy target for LE

I want my clients to be able to see what their getting and face pics are important! You can have a banging body and an ugly face, then what?? (Not saying you, but in general) Know what I mean??

Hope that helps a bit :)

Hey Foxxie---earlier morning eyes here --sorry You have a "some nice face shots"  Some not"   I think it was said before in this thread and other places "SMILE" not a smirk,  just relaxing the "I've had-a-bad-day face" doesn't cut it  but SMILE,  Open youself up to the camera -- it won't bite. You have two smiling pics period. It's the face that make the pesonality show thru and that usally is the final deciding factor.

Evinedtly you have the privacy thing under control-congrats!!!!
