Exiting a hotel...

I have a plan which I use from time to time...  Pretty much have to enter through the main lobby unless she goes to a side entrance to admit you.
What I have done is park near a wing exit (often key card entrance or exit only).  I walk to the main entrance on arrival.  Time to leave, I go to the end of the wing & down the stairs.  Sometimes there's an alarmed Fire Exit in the stair well...  also a door to the ground floor corridor & the key card entrance.  (I'm going out, don't need to get back in.)  I have had it happen that I needed to change wings which I did on a different floor...  but it avoids going back through the lobby an even hour after going in...

It's not always needed or appropriate but worth considering.

Worth considering? not really.  Every hobbyists participates at a level of comfort that works for them. If you want to sneak out the stairwell, that's fine if it  makes you comfortable go for it. But I agree with sweetnicole, way over thinking.

My advice, enter and leave the hotel thru the lobby, act with confidence and look like you belong.

If I don't know hotel layout I will ask the lady on phone where elevators, etc are. This way I just walk in straight to the elevators. If anyone makes eye contact I just smile and nod.
The only place where you may find trouble is if you need key card access to elevators.

been to job interviews in hotels before that lasted about an hour.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

check in time. not as noticeable when there is a crowd at the front desk.

Most of the time i notice the clerk at desk is busy when I walk in anyway(they recognize someone entered but they don't look up)

thereare two hotels i've met ladiesat where the elevators were seperate from the desk and you could walk in and go right up w/o being noticed.

act like you belong there, and few will notice you.  It is also important to know ahead of time where the stairs or elevators are located so that you do not appear lost and attract unnecessary attention.  I have never had a problem exiting thru the lobby, for all anyone knows, you are guest going out to run an errand or some sort of touristy thing (if you're in a tourist area).

Swim

swim is correct..just walk in like you own the place..walk out the same way..i always stop at the bar for a cool one before i head up to the room..you see the layout of the place and dont look like a little lost puppy dog..this is not the time to sneak down hallways and let paranoia take over..

 Swim

I often do the same.  Yes, there are hallway cameras, but most hotels that have this type of business going on already know it.
When I have them come to me, I always identify a side door and tell them I'll meet them there and let them in.  Since they don't then know your room number, if someone shows up that isn't as described, or seems to have someone else following them in, you can not open the door - and generally, I'm able to get a window view of the entrance so I can see what's going on.
It doesn't happen often, but there are some out there looking to rip you off/rob you.  And when you think about it, what a good scam.  Who's going to report being robbed by a prostitute?

This is why we avoid duds like you who blabber your bullshit about "only subpar providers get paid upront" lol. Yea, those top 100 gals charging over a grand sure do look subpar to me. Stay off of BP, spend more than what you pay to get into the zoo, read reviews, and you won't have to hide your stash in your jimmy. Most of us make more in 2 months than you do in a year.
