I emailed 2 providers that I really wanted to meet. One of them had 7 emails back and forth to me. Both of these providers were emailing me back until I mentioned about me not having any references, any employment info(in college), and that I was 19. Yea I know that might be a handful for a provider, but I was certainly obliged to provide any info, had she asked any questions that I had answers to.
It has been a couple of days since they have not replied to my email. I finally have 1 provider to add to my list now though. Unfortunately, from what I understand most indies do not accept agencies as a reference, which is what I think I went with. I am not sure because the provider may have been busy and had someone answer the calls and book for her. She did have a laptop in her room so I guess she does do some contacting of her own.
Now the question is.... Should I email those providers and ask them to meet up with me now since I have met up with a provider? I ask this because I do not want the provider I just met up with to forget me.
What should I do? Contact them again or not? I really want to meet with them...
Dropglock,
Its a sad state of affairs my friend, I am going through similar situations with getting my new friends verified through other providers.
I personally entertain gentlemen who are 33 and older but its not nice for women to "pretend" to be interested in seeing you and give you the cold shoulder.
Now with agencies...From what I experienced, they do not like giving out references for independents. Hell, I heard they don't like doing it PERIOD. Nothing personal I was told - just stolen business is how they view it.
Try e-mailing those ladies again that tickle your fancy because if they don't follow up with you or give you a song and dance on why they became silent or distant; would you really want to spend money on ladies that aren't professional?
Before you throw in the towel on them, give them the benefit of the doubt first...
Good luck,

Do not tell the provider your age unless she asks for it or she specifically states on her website that she does not see gentlemen under a certain age. In such a case you should move on to another provider. Regarding your age, it is ok to fudge a little to the upside. Say you are 21 or 22 if she asks. I did it and it worked as long as you behave like a 21 year old and not a 19 year old.
As long as you have cold hard cash it is all good. Just make sure you understand that this is a business and it is unlikely that she will fall madly in love with you even though you may fall madly in love with her. Also the service you receive from a provider is not likely to happen in the civie world.
Now for the references. Give the provider your school email address [email protected] and ask her to send a discreet message to it and you respond back. Once you give her your name and school email address she can also look you up using the online directory on your school website and confirm who you are.
Two things. Make sure you use an anonymous email service like gmail or yahoo for hobby related activities. If you use your schools email and get caught, you could get kicked out. The school email account can only be used as a form of discreet verification of last resort.
Use a prepaid go phone and not a campus phone or your personal cell to contact providers or to have them contact you.
Get a job even a part time job or a 5 hr / week campus job, it will work as verification.
I started at 21 so it is not impossible.

The deck is stacked against you. Providers just have a plathera of reasons why they do not want to date 19 year olds. Some are good and some are non-sensical.
Happy Traveler is 100% on the money when he points out that you should not expect the same service from civies as what you can get from these women. How does one go back to an amateur sexual partner when you have experienced the pros?
and I doubt many ladies will..I think there are age related laws in every state but why take a chance..
Yes, do be up front with your age because once you are asked for an ID.
Some agencies do whitelist gentlemen on TER but you would have to check in your area..Also some Agency ladies have their own websites as but like the safety and convience of letting an agency do the leg work.
By all means if you see a lady ask her if she will work as a reference.
Good Luck

Nah I am not surprised. I understand their situation. If I was them, I would be dubious in meeting with a young client that has no references or employment info either. I was just looking for some other possibilities that can help me meet with them.
Fortunately I have been with 1 provider already, and that has helped me get a reply from one of the laides that did not respond to me before.
By following Alex_Lombardi's suggestion, I just emailed her asking why she did not reply to my email. I also told her that now I have 1 reference to give her, and she emailed me back, asking me to provide the info to the reference.
Sure it was common sense, but I thought that it would be to much. Guess not.
Hopefully my reference works for her. I am going to pray. =P
