...his name and address. That is not an "actual" tax return, unless perhaps you're a goofy Newfie.
Next year when you file your tax return, just put your name and address on it and block everything else out. See if the CRA will accept it any more than P411 would. If they don't, tell those hosers to take off, eh.
While I understand every aspect of the rules, just getting frustrated. When I first posted about my situation(military vet, stay at home dad, basically retired from working due to military service) I got a few PM showing interest and even a PM from a provider that I had strong interest in. Went through the motions of trying to get verified. She asked for xyz, I sent xyz and then nothing since Thursday night, which I assume is a "not verified" from her. I took the advice about p411 and how they are willing to work with you to get you verified. Sent in the xyz but the Z(tax return) wasn't official enough for them.

being a newbie involves a lot of red tape and patience..you have to jump a lot of hurdles before you can get into the marathon..
TL
you got to start from the bottom. Not the "bottom" bottom obviously.... but see at least 2 providers who have a rep on P411. They can then give you references and all will be easier. Some gals are willing to see newbies (and do alt screening for your situation).
I do also suggest asking Gina (at P411) what is going on or what more you can do.

...can get to know you and get a sense of who you are.
There are providers who advertise they are especially fond of vets. Look for them and ask them for advice on storming the beach.
Great service and you can talk to someone on their 800# to get approved. Once you're on, you can find providers who'll see a newbie with no OKs. Get a few OKs from them and you're home free.
(just proving I don't come here only to flame noobs.)
my eyes had glazed over by that point. Biggest around here in a long time. Buh bye.
P411 would not accept your tax return as verification evidence of who you are? Sorry my friend, I don't know what to tell you. The advice about getting active on your local regional board was good. Suggest you a review search for newbie friendly providers in your area. Asking for help on that on your local boarc might help.
Newbies seem to be having an increasingly tough time getting into the hobby, and I do not know why. Best of luck. Just remember, we all were there at one point in time.
Swim
From his post, I assumed he sent P411 his tax return. Did I miss something?

"...I took the advice about P411 and how they are willing to work with you to get you verified. Sent in the xyz but the Z (tax return) wasn't official enough for them..."
OP sent P411 his tax return but it wasn't "official enough for them."
Everyone agrees OP sent P411 some kind of tax return but it obviously was not a tax return that was acceptable to P411.

Turns out...he did send his actual tax return with info blocked out...and Swim was right. Just say...oops...I mis-read the OP, or...oops...I misinterpreted the OP...or oops...it wasn't clear until the OP confirmed...or oops...Swim, guess you were right on this one...
You don't have to be right all the time to contribute. Just gracefully accept when you're wrong. You look like a turd when you correct others and you end up being wrong...and then you don't admit it...instead you keep defending your comments..

I blocked out the unneeded info. They only saw my name and address. I only did it because it was p411 who seems to have a good reputation among the community.
You have to start somewhere ... I know the risks suck but most of us started with no or little verifying ... You kinda have to work your way up ... Too often I would read things like "I never see a girl without reviews" well at one point I had none and still only have about a dozen on varying sites ... Same is true for clients ... I know you want a well reviewed girl and maybe you can and want to pay big bucks to see her but you just might have to set your sights a little lower and look for girls who don't verify/screen ... Just be careful and use all your spidey senses ... Google number, use tiny eye etc ... Then one day when you grow up you can be a screenable hobbyist lol ... I joke but really I do understand ... We all started out noobs ... Hell I still consider myself one .... Still learning =D
Not sure where you're located. Our friends to the north have much more relaxed laws where hobbying is concerned. If you can manage a trip...you might be able to make arrangements with a couple of providers that also use P411 and will screen you with other methods. They key thing is to ask if they will consent to being references for you to help you satisfy the p411 membership requirements. Toronto has plenty of ladies on P411. I haven't researched other Canadian cities much.
It's easy to find girls that use p411 as they usually list it on their web sites.
You could also do the same in your locale...but...local ladies may be reluctant to see you w/o references, employment, or a verification site in your corner.
PM me if you're interested in more detail about Toronto. It's a pretty cool city in its own right...the freedom to hobby there w/o some of the stateside hangups is just a really nice bonus.
That is an option. I visit the Buffalo area often during the year. I will look into that if I can't get things set up locally
Cool. Feel free to hit me up if you plan a trip. Happy to offer any tips from my experiences there.
Why don’t you try and meet in a public place like Star Bucks. Some providers are willing just need to find one who is willing. Most providers have friends and you can build up from there.
P411 doesn’t always work either. Even with membership, some still ask for references.
