Do people use their real names?  Some providers apparently want real names, want work phone numbers, and check IDs.  Are there hobbyists who just refuse that stuff and always use aliases?  Or is it impossible to not use aliases?

Do people ever just use their first names?

If a hobbyist uses an alias when contacting a provider, but then the provider asks for name and work confirmation and the hobbyist then offers his/her real name, will that be the end of the encounter?  Or do providers understand that hobbyists play these games in hopes of protecting themselves?

... the real info is mandatory.  I do understand guys play these games to protect themselves and so I do not hold it against them if they start out that way, but if the refusal to provide real (verifiable) info continues then the conversation has no where to go.

There are plenty of girls who (unfortunately, IMO) do not require real info so if you feel you must use alias info, your choices will be limited to those ladies.  Just bear in mind that if she doesn't know who you really are, she also won't know who LE really is when they contact her.  You need to decide if it's actually "protecting" yourself to see someone who may have an appointment with LE right before/after you.

You can choose to be real, or you can choose to be fake, but if you choose fake you do need to realize you forfeit the chance to see a fair percentage of ladies.  No point in complaining about a self-imposed limit in that case. ;-)  And no point in complaining about getting popped after seeing a lady who doesn't require real info! *

*no, real info is not a 100% guarantee of avoiding LE.  nothing is.  however, it makes perfect sense that the stricter the screening process is for everyone, the less chance of LE sneaking through and  making everyone's life miserable.*

Everything you mention occurs, there are some providers who do want real name and I have used my real name on occasion and given a work number. Since I have references most of the time I just use an alias and I have never had  a provider check ID as of yet. I have contacted a provider by email with my alias and had to switch to real name for a work verification no problem. I also have had providers who do no visible screening at all. There is no one rule that will fit every situation. You decide what information you are willing to use, knowing that there may be some ladies you can not see.

I use just my first name. I've never had a problem seeing who I want to see. The two or three times a provider has wanted to see ID, I blocked out my last name and address. I don't feel any need to use an alias.

I've often seen providers who ask for your full name and work info on online appointment forms. I never fill out those forms. After I email them my references and P411/Date-Check okays, it's clear sailing.

Do providers use their real names?  What works for  the providers may work for the hobbyists.  However, I am the newest newbie.
