Everyone is a board moderator now

There used to be volunteer moderators for each discussion board. They all got "fired" last February. The boards are now moderated by TER staff (overseas) mostly via the "report a post" feature. (which is why I said everyone is a moderator now.

You can contact TER via the "contact us" button, by email, or through "report a post."

How are moderators chosen/hired? Is it someone from the community? Or in house staff overseas somewhere working for the parent company which owns the TER website?  

Can one talk to moderators directly, or is contacting support the only option?

you are the official host..you run a tight ship..you are always informative and helpful..and most of all save the real moderators a lot of pain and needless suffering..believe me they have enough to handle now..

I am the host of the newbie board, and to my knowledge, the only board host.  I was the moderator or this board until admin got rid of all the moderators.  

You can PM me with questions, or post them on the board.

to me..Swimtrekr and Perfectstorm will always be my moderators in spirit..they keep a lid on the crazies..always are willing to give good advice..and will always answer any question you have via PM or on the board itself..they are and always will be my " go to " guys..we need a lot more like them..
