Be patient, every big city has hobbyist who TOFTT. When you get an inquiry from a hobbyist, be honest and tell them about yourself.  Make sure your website has pictures that are honest and not misleading. Most important, is NOT to seem desparate. Many newbie providers come on here, with posts like yours, if you planned financially for business to be slow at the start of your escort career, you should be ok. You might participate on the local boards where  you're touring and where you're based. Good luck!

Hobbyists with no provider OKs have the same problem.  The only thing you can do is encourage everyone you see to write a review.  But there's no way to ensure they will.  Most guys don't.  You also could look up experienced reviewers in your area and offer them a TOFTT special.  But it's frowned upon to require a high score as the price for that. Get to know providers in your area and ask their advice.  Try to get invited to M&Gs. You are going to have to be patient.

Hello all! First time posting here, and I've been reading all morning. Thank you all for the ways that you support one another. :)

Now, I've seen mentioned over and over again, "Don't see a provider unless she's well-reviewed." I understand that completely; I care about your safety as much as I care about mine. However, as titled, what's a well-intentioned new girl to do?!

I may be a new provider, but I've been considering this move for years. I've been a self-employed businesswoman since 2009 (I'm a sex-educator). I've thought it through fully, done my research, and my website is up and running. I am intelligent, educated, and have integrity! I've looked into P411 and RS2K, but I don't yet have enough reviews. And I can't get them if no one chooses to see me... sigh.

I have multiple past and current lovers who'd be glad to create a profile just to give me a review. I suspect, however, that it would make me look even more like a trap since they'd each only be reviewing me. Oy vey! ;)

I'm visiting Washington DC next week, and will be offering incall at a beautiful Capitol Hill area hotel. I've tossed a couple of ads out there. (fingers crossed!) Now, how can I assure potential clients that I'm REAL?!

All suggestions and feedback will be appreciated. I feel that I have something truly wonderful to offer, I just want the chance to offer it!

:) Gratefully,
Viv

You will sound like the new girl, act like the new girl, and talk like the new girl.

That is not only okay, it reassures the experienced hobbiest that you are legit.

I was scared to death to get my first review! Cdfix had to talk me into seeing him and reassure me it was a painless process. We emailed for a good week! I was such a chicken... it's so funny looking back now.

I even asked him if we could do a "dry run" of a session before the one he was going to review so I could "practice." LOLOLOL Seriously! I must have sounded like such a dumbass! (we didn't do that, by the way, I only saw him once). But I sure didn't sound like I was undercover, that's for sure.

What you DON'T want is to come out of the gate looking too polished right off the bat. That would make most guys pretty suspicious.

I just used cell phone pictures on Cityvibe and backpage when I first got started. You don't need to get all fancy to just get your toe in the water.

as well as other boards on TER.

People will get to know you that way, and someone will TOFTT eventually with you.  If they write a review, it won't be long till your the toast of the town, if you have the chops.  I've met several gals on TER in that manner.

One thing you should do ASAP is put your link in to your website.  Do you have an interactive link to TER on your site?  If not, get it on there now.

Go to the Self Help Manual that is linked on this board, and read up on how to do it.

If you still have trouble come back and let us know and someone here will help you with it.

We love to help out new members here.

Best wishes.

More experienced hobbiests are more likely to TOFTT if they get a good vibe.  To that end, I suggest you be sure you have a good web site...  it does not have to be fancy, a template site will do...  but right information & good pictures.  The pictures must be "how you look now".  Some ladies could use the same pictures for a year but it's also possible to change your appearance in a few months.  No Music (guys should know better than view adult sites where they can be overheard or seen but if they don't...  they'll click right back off your site.)  The pictures need not be totally explicit but they should show enough...  When I view pictures, I figure, taken in total do I really know what she looks like.   Your web site must have a clickable TER link back logo on the first page.
Learn the rules for posting on your local ad board.  1 ad thread per 7 days...  and as a Newbie, you'll be moderated...  allow extra time for your posts to be approved before they go on line.  You do not have to be reviewed to advertize here.  Put some personality into it...  will help to overcome a lack of reviews.
I believe you can not start a thread on other boards with a link to your ad or web site...  It would be the equivement of an ad on the wrong board which is prohibited, of course.  You can, however, reply to someone elses posts / threads.   Particularly your regional (non-ad) board...  you should still make conversation.
Once you have a record of posts, & showing you can follow the rules...  you can request to be unmoderated so your posts show up right away.

Your previous lovers...  would probably be considered as prohibitted from writing reviews (friends, family).  They certainly would be detected if they posted from your computer.  As first time reviewers their reviews might still not be approved...   A lot of first reviews are bogus it seems...  an later reviews prove it.  I disreguard a first review until I have some confirmation.

If you offer good services, at a good value, no scams...  you will succeed.
Best Wishes,
skb

hobbyist, I have seen a new lady who didn't have reviews once I got to "know her" through the boards. Most local boards have theme days where providers can post a pic (for example, in Florida Tuesday is ta-ta day and the ladies post pics of their ta-tas).  This is one way to attract attention.

If you haven't already, read the newbie manual (top right under the life presserver) and several pages here. You will find many topics repeat about once a week. If you learn to use the search feature, you will be able to find posts that are similar to most of the questions you may have.

If a lady offers good service for a fair price, she will succeed in this biz. Good luck to you!

I am the host of this board, and as I said, what is in the previous posts is good advice.  If you have more questions, feel free to ask here, or you can PM me.  Someone will answer you.

Welcome and good luck,
Swim

With todays digital equipment, anybody can take good pictures.  Use the good ones & delete the rest.  If your cell takes great pictures, fine.  Fuzzy picts do not make it.  Thumbs that don't open, don't make it.  If not plan to invest in a decent camera...  they're not expensive anymore.
There are guys for every body type...  don't use deceptive pictures.   Guys who think they've been tricked will not write good reviews!
