not a newbie, but a newbie question.

how do the links that u place on your page that satte "online" or "offline" become active?
is that only a VIP feature?

does anyone know what i'm talking about coz i don't, LOL.

It appears that as long as you have provider status, they should update automatically when you log in/out (I think "be right back" shows up when you're idle but the system hasn't yet logged you off for inactivity).

I've not actually used the feature myself, though, so I could be totally wrong!

If you go click on the "My TER" tab, the last item in the "My Quick Links" panel on the left says "show my online status."  Can't tell you what happens next because I hit a page that says the feature is for providers only.  Of course that means you don't need VIP and only need to be registered as a provider, which you are.

i figured it out. its for when ur online for the ter messenger. private chat.
