To answer your question. You can ask her " do you have any reviews and if so on what sites." But to be honest i wouldn't see anyone without a couple reviews. My suggestion is do what you've read and been advised of doing, see a well reviewed provider that is noob friendly. You do not want to go through what some of us old timers have been through, trust me on this. Please take our advise and do this hobby the smart way. BUT if you want to take one for the team(TOFTT) by all means do it and give us a review, you might find that gem, but the odds are like 1000 to 1 or worse that you won't.

Not just searching by her name. If she has TER reviews/profile there should be a phone # or email associated with her profile.

DON'T DO IT. When you get seasoned you will be able to tell which girls don't have reviews by their pics and ads. Stay away. No TER=HELL NO. Do I get a free month for that endorsement?????? LOL

I wouldn't worry too much about etiquette when contacting a BP provider with no website or links to review boards, etc. She will be either a newbie who doesn't know anything about etiquette, or a fake - and if she is legitimate and professional, she will handle your questions in a professional way. (Obviously, I'm not talking about saying "hey, how much to fuck?")

this little saying will keeps you out of harms way in many instances concerning the hobby, especially when it pertains to  backpage.  Now I have nothing against BP, I've seen a ton of escorts off bp ads, matter of fact the last provider I saw, advertises on BP. Just wait until you've seen enough escorts, before  you wade into the TOFTT waters.     Newbie here and I have been looking through BP, TER, P411 for about a month now and feel ready to begin making first contact  While I completely understand I should go with someone highly reviewed (and noob friendly) my question is in regards to those ads you see and they have no reviews...   lets say I see a cutie on BP who I totally want to see.  I do my TER search and comes up nothing.  I do my google image search and there arent tons of pics on the net..  Is it bad etiquette to contact provider and ask for    1)  Updated pic (different from the ad) and/or 2) a place I may find a review for them  

1 and 3 combined is a great why to freak someone out. As a "newbie" with no reviews and less then professional pictures, if I encountered someone like that, I would just leave. It is a scary enough situation as is, but coupled with not having any information/idea about the person you are meeting and then having them block your exit upon arrival, I personally would think you wanted to hurt me. The most you have to worry about is being out of money, this women is afraid that she will get rape, assaulted, or murdered.

 Asking for "updated pics" will probably not be well received, and as another poster suggested, are no proof of anything. Asking for a link to a website or review site is a great idea. If she can't provide that, then you are IMMEDIATELY in TOFTT world, and you just have to decide if you want to do that.  
   
 If you decide to TOFTT, be sure to protect yourself in every way possible:  
 1) Give up as little info about yourself as you can  
 2) Book a short(er) date - 30 min?  
 3) Don't hand over the money immediately, and don't put yourself in a position where she can take the money and run. Put down the envelope, but try to stay between her and the door - or don't even hand it over til she's taken off some clothes.  
 4) If she is NOT the girl in the pics but is still attractive, make a decision. A lot of guys will just leave, while others will decide she is hot enough to stick around.  
 5) If she's not the girl in the pics and is not attractive, get the fuck out of there  
   
 Last but not least, there's always the possibility of the "boyfriend" banging on the door. Don't wait for it to happen to start making a plan. If you can handle yourself and don't mind an altercation, then be prepared to disarm him and bust his skull the minute he arrives. That's my choice But if you are not built for that, or can't risk cops showing up, legal troubles, etc - then be prepared to walk away without your money and chalk it up to experience. These guys do NOT want any legal troubles either, and it is VERY unlikely that they will physically attack you unless they have to - they just want to intimidate you and take your money.  
   
 Oh, by the way, don't carry your wallet or any extra money into the room.

Is talking about a BP girl with no website and no reviews. In other words, she has given up no information about herself. For him to hand over his name, address, phone, workplace, etc, etc, would just be foolish.
