I'm not sure, either, but I've noticed several touring providers who are well known (well, I know them!) and well reviewed but have two or more current names (in different cities). Maybe they intended to keep their profiles separate but, if running current ads, someone will point out the match soon enough and the profiles will be merged with both names. "Susan TER ID 123456" also has reviews and current ads as "Mary TER ID 987654". Those will be merged into "Mary / Susan TER 123456" (keeping the earliest ID active and canceling the newer number).
There are also low end BP girls who are probably too ditzed to keep track of the names they used on their previous one-shot ads.
If a provider is reputable and has built up a reputation under one name why work under another name? I find it strange I know a provider here on ter who worked under 4 different names and all of the names had reviews and the profiles was not combined.She used different names,ethnicity,age,rates,and websites. It was so bizarre and what was really weird her original profile had good reviews so who knows the reasoning behind it.I was surprised none of the guys caught it. I guess eventually she got caught or just decided to delete the other names and profiles.
The only thing I can think of is maybe the provider started working with an agency under one name maybe she no longer works there and they still have her picture up.So when she went to work for another agency she uses another name
I know someone who was working at a local-only agency in one city (good reviews) and then I unintentionally saw her again under a new name in another city through a local-only agency (good reviews). It was a "Hay! You're (name)!" moment and she remembered me, too. She told me she was unsure if she would piss off agency A by working for agency B in another city so she picked a different name. She is now very popular, indy, her Profiles are merged and most agencies would probably love to list her as she is certain to draw traffic and inquiries.
So, yeah, some "two name" girls might be due to a holdover from earlier days of doubt or less confidence
