here's the story: cl casual girl after several emails gives a name-number and 11k pic. i ask for better current to show its real, get some more little ones. gee-mail addy comes up on cl recent months as a lawn care ad! lol obviously, no dice. but here's kicker-same pics found on sipsap 2day w same name n phone. and its a new [days old] list

how can i share this actual nfo @ ter? ie, blacklist-ish stuff?

is sipsap suspect or helpful?

Well.  Yes, you can talk on your regional board about problematic ads and providers.  But the point of this site is to give you the info you need to find the right provider for you.  And whatever you do, including or linking to someone's real life identity is a big no-no.

You are right, not every city is listed.  Find the region that's closest to you (or Other Cities)and search for whatever criteria is important to you.  

A provider with no reviews is not a good idea.  Stick to well-reviewed providers with good reputations for keeping their appointments and treating their clients well.

i would not post real life info, i mean posting the suspect mall listing address and giving the bogus email and craigslisting address. people could see the pics and format and beware of similar pics and ads in different places. or show how phone numbers are used for not only multiple providers, as is known, but by ads in different business completely. not linking to someones fbook. or showing address of posts in related forums of lea warning, for example. which i have seen in just a few keystrokes of interest in this subject, but have not seen mentioned here. important stuff for members and providers i would think also.

i would be respectful of copyright by just posting addys. any spider does this.

i am more asking about where and if to post here, and why the particular forum is not apparent. because i am a newb or that it doesnt exist yet?

along the lines of getting input here, what is the best way to garner support and have TER improve its database to support my city? i also see that filtering for recent reviews could be narrowed to 1 or x-number of days for finding current, relevant info when there is no city info for a particular place. travelling providers with good records, or bad, would pop up when they show up. that might be the easiest way to help all people, not just in my city, see non-specific city nfo.

in the interest of more benefit from the data already here and available, i also want to rephrase the question about blacklist-like nfo; maybe it would be better to say red-flag info. Probably again most useful to TER members without a list of good-reviewed providers to book from.

i know there are many different skill levels of using search engines, and many who have access to better databases than others [legal, political, administration, utility, reverse phone, etc.] i would like to help those i can and benefit from those who can help me. before i book and regret. since most providers have no reviews, listings of those found to be shady or poss le b4 hand could be of great benefit for all, esp. those outside of widely reviewed areas. and on short notice, too. just recognizing patterns in the formats of bad postings is useful, even if not in one's particular location.

i realize i am a total newb, please forgive and let me know if i am stepping on toes. if i was a better dancer, i might not be here!  lolz

i might be missing a basic, unstated premise of the site: is it really primarily for business travellers?

my particular field and company has nearly completely eliminated travel needs with telepresence  not that i had access to the travel budget anyway. my job doesn't require it.

You seem really intent on "busting" fishy ads.  It makes me wonder why you waste your time with that instead of just finding the provider you want?  You'll get a lot more mileage out of taking an interest in the positive side of things, IMO.

and btw, i was very positive last night : ) beginners luck is a wonderful thing, assisted with some basics i got here! from the reviews i have read, this undiscovered gem was something i will always try to reach for in the future. but not something i may ever see the likes of again! because i don't expect to be in vegas anytime soon.

so, my requests for how to better access the database stand and i have addressed ter but want input from users also.

You might consider just posting, naming your area, and asking for any info on providers there. If there are hobbyists form you are here, they nay help
