Hello All,

I have been a lurker for some time.  I finally registered and wanted to introduce myself to the board.

I am soon to be divorced and just want to have fun right now.  Papers should be signed this coming week and then I'm off to Vegas for the Thanksgiving holiday.

I have learned lots of things from reading the board, also lots of nice ladies on here.

Maybe we'll run into each other after turkey day in LV.  That's where I'll be too.

If you're planning on starting your hobby career in Vegas, make sure you do lot's of homework. Vegas can be great if you prepare, but if you do something on the spur of the moment in Vegas it can be a disaster. And since you're a newbie, you'll need references, so join one of the ref services like date check, p 411 or rs2000.
I also recommend you lurk on the local Vegas board before your trip. It's a rough board so Good luck

Stay away from the handful of 18 yr olds claiming to be independent, with reviews from the same small group of guys.  I won't say that they're fake, but I will say that you can do far better with WELL reviewed ladies.

Thanks guys, yeah it's worth every penny.  I have been doing much research and looking on the Vegas boards.

I have noticed in the past year or so that they are coming up to you.  I'll be walking through the casino in the early morning hours and and get hit up by a few.  They are relentless also.  Every excuse you give them, they come up with something.  There was a good looking redhead that came up to me at the Excalibur a while back.  I just got out of the cab and two where just standing right inside the doors.

Make yourself a set of rules/guidelines for selecting providers & stick with them. Suggested areas include minimum # of reviews available, lowest acceptable performance ratings (looks rating is much more subjective, but OK to have a rule on that, too), age range, any particular performances you've got to have (e. g. BBBJ vs. CBJ), etc. Use the 'Average Rating Range' feature when searching on TER. Of the 20 or so providers I've seen in the last year 1/2 or so, I've only been real disappointed twice, both times when I disregarded one or more rule (once outside my age range, once no reviews--both had hot pics & my 'little brain' won out).
