If I'm meeting someone for dinner, how do I get the envelope BEFORE we go back to his place/hotel/trailer?  (that last one was a joke, BTW)

I've heard of cards & gift bags gifted to the lady upon arrival...  I've no experience with this, I hope others will give more information.

Have him leave the payment as a tip. You pick it up and leave the real tip! He can give you the tip back later.
Of course don't let the waiter/waitress see you do it....LOL

When you and your date meet and your dressed in your sexiest oufit, great him with a rousing DFK. While you have him distracted, pat him down to find the donation. Or play the pick-pocket and lift it from him. Sorry couldn't resist that - LMAO
Seriously, if he has not found some discrete method to give you the donation, you might try in your most alluring voice asking him "Did you have something for me?" That might work and get the juices flowing at the same time.

what if by the slimmest chance you have a shall we say, less than stellar time while dinning?  You would obviously have an awkward moment then having to return the envelope, which I would think be the prudent thing to do.  None the less you had a nice meal irregardless.
With that said, you will know the maturation level of this gent whilest at dinner and know if he is good for the envelope upon arrival at the double wide.

I've been on several dinner dates. On some, I have, as suggested by others, brought a little gift bag, maybe some candles or massage oils. I usually put the card in the bag with the gift. Others, even though, I've had the envelope with me, showed no interest, probably because they were repeats. Then again, he can leave it or set it on the dashboard as well as he can on the dresser, as long as he doesn't hand it to you.

Jane....First I think it important to know where you will be going after dinner. No surprises. Know exactly where you will be going, and make sure you have someone that will know where you will be.

I always think it important on outcalls that a lady lets a friend of hers know just in case she is late returning...and call said friend to say, I'm back and safe. Now....that being said, let him know beforehand that upon arrival to the room or 'trailer' ugh...to please leave the envelope in the bathroom where you can discreetly shut the door and count it. then put it with your things.

CK, that's not a bad idea.  If he gets wise, I can just grab his crotch.  "What?  (wide, innocent eyes)  No, no, I wasn't picking your pocket. (grab crotch here) I was wondering if you were happy to see me."   lol

I already tried this.  Guess what???  I got stiffed.  Not completely, but I didn't get paid for ALL of my time.  Poor, dumb, new Janie.  Well, at least he paid for dinner.  

I'm going with either the grope and pick suggested by CK or ask him to put it into a greeting card and just give it to me or put it in my purse.  

Sigh.

A lot of good ideas...  Keep them coming!  I am learning so much.

#1.  On first meeting, I might have a drink with a lady but not dinner.  For dinner, we'd have already met previously.  
#2  Why give the donation in a public place unnecessarily?  This is not the CIA or bribing some politico (nearly a tradition in my state)...  though it might be mistaken for exactly what it is.  Not the way to be inconspicious.    
#3  I makes perfect sense that after returning safely to your room, both would want to use the rest room...  The lady might want to phone a friend briefly...   Close the door behind you...

Cards and gift bags are very popular...Most Gentlemen know what to do  so you should not worry about it. I screen my Gents well and don't worry about it at all I have never had an issue so far and for the most part I do not take the $$ or see or want to see it til I am leaving. It can take part of the fantasy away and its all about fantasy. Even if there is a gift bag, I never look. Its a trust thing.
So you will know whats going on when you get there.

tell him beforehand, either when you make the appointment or through your website, to have the donation inside a halmark type card which he gives to you at the beginning of dinner.  If he does not give it to you and needs to be prompted, say something like:

"I can't wait to see the the card you told me you picked out for me" with that look that only women can have that clearly says: either figure out what I mean or go home unhappy.

It's a business.  Intimate, sure, but still a business.  When I opened my own business, I had to learn not to be embarrassed about conducting the business part of it.  You should always remain as grounded about that as possible.

Just don't meet that guy you posted about earlier (adventure post) for dinner, because when you ask the waiter for the check, you'll confuse him all to hell. LOL

I count it for new fellows, but the experience where I got shorted was with someone I'd seen several times.  I don't know if he thought my time was free because we were at dinner, or what.  I really enjoy his company, but this is a business.  If I only wanted enjoyment, I'd have gone bowling.

Which is worse?
1) I didn't get paid OR
2) I still want to see him again.  As soon as I figure out how to tell him that I'm paid by the hour.  

Thankyou for this very good post about a suject most never think about till it's to late. I have been in this position and waited till after dinner and back at the room to get my donation. It has worked but I don't do first meetings over dinner often. I like the card idea and the wording is perfect. I will be adding this to my website. Big Big Big Kiss for you today Haley
