Be it Back Page, Eros or Cityvibe the only way to verify that an ad isn't fake or deceptive is to find reviews on the lady in question.  Without reviews it is always a roll of the dice.

As the others have said, there is no foolproof way to tell the difference.  I know a very highly reviewed provider that uses Backpage all the time with much success.  OTOH, there is a plethora of fakes, scams, ripoffs, etc that use it also.  Part of it depends on the area of the country.  I think some are worse than others, but you never know.

I have said this many times, you can look for providers anywhere you want, but in the end you have to check for reviews somewhere, whether it be here or one of the several other review sites out there.  If she has no reviews, move on, esp if you are new to this.  It's called research.  Check out the phone number, check out the pictures, look for other ads, be thorough.

He's right. Reviews are the only relatively fool-proof way of knowing. It occurred to me later that a woman working for L.E. could pose as a provider, take photos of herself, talk to you, meet you, and then spoil the fun in a hurry. Or maybe she'll think YOU are LE if you bring handcuffs on a date.

Not ALL BP providers are fakes.  Every other site out there has a large percentage of fakes, liars, scammers, etc. I'd agree that most of BP ads are either fake or are people you just don't want to get involved with --but there are exceptions.  A little common sense goes a long way in leading you to the rare legit ladies.  I have found that some just don't want to go the full blown route of paying much for advertising or worrying about reviews because of privacy issues, they are in it for short term, or have actual jobs  to work everyday besides providing.  Go with your gut and always proceed with caution NO MATTER WHERE you find a provider!

have found some very providers on backpage.  you just have to use common sense.  don't let the little head make your decisions !!!!
