I'm new to the board but have a condition that has me a little concerned.  I'm jin my fifties and find that my climax isn't as intense as it was years ago.  More problematic is that when I climax there is little to no cum.  This is trrue even if I haven't had sex for a week.  Is this common?  Is this something I should be concerned about?  Any thoughts would be appreciated

If so, I would consult a urologist.

No. Its been going on for some time now.

If it still feels the same when you get off, who cares how much comes out!

You may have a condition called retrograde ejection, certain medications especially those for enlarged prostate can cause that. Are you on any medication.

First allow me to premise my reply by stating that seeking medical advice in this forum is questionable at best.

Having said that, the experience you describe could be attributed to a number of factors. BPH, a condition in which the prostate gland enlarges and restricts the flow through the vas deferens can cause the symptoms you describe. However, a diet rich in fatty foods can as well. Additionally, regular alcohol intake in excess of what is considered moderate, high blood pressure, smoking, a habit of wearing tight fitting pants, and many other factors can contribute to reduced semen production, and/or diminished sensation during orgasm.

If this has been going on for some time as your response to another poster indicates, your best bet would be to consult a medical professional. Before jumping to the urologist though, first see a physician for a physical, and discuss your concerns with him/her. Your Doctor can recommend further tests to determine the cause of your symptoms, and/or courses of treatment based on complete information that simply cannot be communicated here in this forum.

In the meantime, until your Doctor gives you something to worry about, do not be overly concerned. You should be concerned enough to consult a physician, but don't jump to conclusions either.

As above, good advice to see you physician for physical first... tell him/her about the issue and go from there.  Just a reminder that quantity (pops, amount of ejaculate etc.) are not as important in sexual relationships as the quality.
