I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to edit a message you've already posted. I couldn't find anything when I did a search of messages & I didn't come across this in the newbie manual.

For the first 24 hours, an "edit message" button will appear below the list of messages in the current thread.  Click it, and you will be able to make your changes.  After 24 hours, the button disappears.

Also note:  if you are moderated, the time your post sits waiting for the moderator to approve it counts in the 24 hours.

Is it alright to add a reply to your original post, (like an update) IF you miss the 24hr period?
