Ok been reading a lot of the posts, and have been trolling on CL for a bit, but let me just put it out there. I have never hooked up this way before except over seas back in the Navy days. That being said, I guess my biggest concern is not getting busted.
I was looking at this girl on CL and something seems "off". What are the tell tale signs of a rip off or cops?

Stay away from CL. It's not all that likely she is LE but she probably isn't who she says she is. If you are determined to meet someone off of CL be very careful and do web searches to find out as much about the girl ad possible. Search on her name, her phone number, her other ads, and run her pics through tineye. If she seems too good to be true, she probably is fake. It's safest to do your research and meet someone who has been reviewed here. Ask in your local forum for specific suggestions.
