Wearing the proper gear and not taking stupid chances is paramount. If or when you start to obsess over the "what ifs" it's time to hang up your helmet.

Accidents do happen......
I have had the misfortune of a condom breaking with a working girl.....twice, actually!  I could make an observation about the size of my member, or expiration dates on old condoms, but I think a lack of actual arousal of the providers was more likely the most significant factor.  In both cases, I went to an urgent care clinic the morning after, informed the doctor of my situation, and was given a 10-day prophylactic regimen of HIV drugs.  I took 3 month and 6 month HIV tests afterward, which were negative. In one case, the provider and I actually had phone contact to discuss the results of our tests.  To say that these accidents were a pain in the ass would be a huge understatement, and I guess one must consider the element of risk of this hobby.  I have had numerous encounters with escorts since then, and I am a firm (no pun intended) believer in brand new condoms and good lube (the lady usually appreciates the thoughtfulness, as well).

I was just wondering if you've ever caught anything, bacterial via a providor.  I hear some are very common.  
Do you use lube all the time over a condom when seeing a providor?  The last woman I saw was worried that the condom had broke, it didn't but had me worried.  What are we looking at percentage-wise as far as condom breakage from your experience.  Thanks a lot.

I have tested clean across the board since the condom breakage incidents.  Percentage-wise.... let's say two times out of fifty experiences with providers....four percent in my case.  The first time it happened, it was like lightning striking, you know, I was thinking, "What are the chances of that happening again?"  After the second time, I started getting more paranoid during thunderstorms.
