When emailing the girl of your choice

Every provider in their TER profile has an entire section devoted to "Services Offered". Is this a bad word, am I missing something here or is that not what providers do?  Doctors, lawyers, plumbers and hair-stylists all provide a service, but if that is taboo for providers, then what is the appropiate word?
