Getting a hard time is just the nature of the GD board. I think it means you are loved but
your link on the GD board doesnt work.....are you sure you are really here?

Provider Not Found!!
Provider information is no longer available on TER.

ok. so i've sent requests to TER twice, asking them to link my profile to my reviews.
i've gotten confirmation emails back each time, but so far, NOTHING!!!
it's making it really hard on here for me, with certain members constantly giving me
a really hard time.

am i missing something?????

i've tried posting on the boards a few times,
nothing malicious, just being conversational.
and these people essentially just try to tear my reputation
apart.
so i post a link to my reviews. (my reviews are good)
usually they stfu because my reviews are better than most,
but then the next day they completely forget.

i like this forum and the people i've actually met on it so far,
it can be really helpful.
but.... sometimes i just don't have enough middle fingers to go around.

getting a little frustrating

That is one of the reasons I am debating coming to this site. It seems to be "cut throat" with some. And that isn't my style at all. I am very under the radar, but have been considering review sites and my link should be in directory soon, but reading stuff like what you are having issues with makes me want to stay away. I have emailed a couple times with staff and they get back right away. Always be nice in your reply as I am sure u r. Tell them you are still having difficulties. Ignore the negative. You know your reputation! GL to u.

There are lots of friendly people here, and all the guys are nice and helpful when they come to the newbie board.  The General Discussion board is just a place to blow off steam, and it can get rough for those without a thick skin.  Hang out for a while and watch and get comfortable, the jump in when you feel you have something to say.  Just be prepared for people to disagree or call you out.  The newbie board and most regional boards are safe places to get your feet wet.

So welcome to you both!  Hang in there!

The General Board and the Politics and Religion Board are two places where members here go to howl at the moon. They are not recommended for newbies, or sensitive types :-) They are also not the heart and soul of TER. You can post ads on your regional ad board where no discussion is allowed, and post general stuff on your regional discussion board, where the give and take is USUALLY more gentle (not always).
The Newbie Board is almost always friendly, and occasionally when someone steps out of line (myself included) :) , there is a mod and a bunch of "unpaid assistant" mods who will step in. The over 60 board is another pretty friendly place.

Also, you can try lurking on the GD or P&R, you'll quickly learn who you want to talk to and who you want to ignore.

I just wanted to add you dont have to have reviews in order to have the TER logo. I have it on my site now. They approved it.

...I guess it makes sense that they would allow the TER logo to appear on your site as long as you followed their guidelines for posting it. I'm sure they are assuming you won't have a No review policy with your clients. I do know that if you have a No review policy they will de-list you from TER.  I suppose in that case the TER logo would likely have to be removed from your site.  I wish you success.   xyz23

Hi, I dont have a no review policy. I just have never been on a board that has them. I was only inquiring if I wanted limited or none if it was possible. Im getting used to the idea.

I am taking a cell phone pic and going to post it so hopefully will prove it is me, but I dont know how to do a "picture url" to post a pic. Can anyone tell me how?

Thanks
Dana

...Didn't mean to imply you did have a No review policy, sorry if it sounded that way.
I was just repeating what I said in your thread in order to help you make an informed decision since you stated that you were uncertain about having the details of a session made public.

This being the newbie board and many coming on here and having the same questions it's always useful to repeat things

...everything about this hobby/providing requires one.  The reality is that the great majority of people involved here are wonderful human beings, but the other reality is that most are Type-A personalities.  So...you combine internet annonymity with a "room" full of type-a personalities then mix in the constantly-sexiually-charged atmosphere and you get....the GD Board.

It is absolutely nothing personal love, I can assure you of that.  People are just feeling you out babe

You are copying/pasting the link wrong.

When you had put it on GD you had it as http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?id=214409]

] doesn't need to be on there and is causing it to say provider not found.

Here is the link that you should send to TER to get this matter fixed

http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?id=214409

Don't worry, they give crap until they know you are not a troll. Once you have your reviews linked, they will know you are a real person. I also took the time to say this on GD so they chill out. Don't be offended, I am sure you'd be sick of fake posters like they are. Not against you personally.

So problem solved!!

But she doesn't have to send the link to TER. All she needs us her ID # and her username, and she needs to email them from the proper email address.

and just for the record, I saw it and it worked the first time you posted it in response to those guys.  It sounds like you have done what you are supposed to multiple times, so there may be another issue with TER verifying the information.  If for example you registered your user account using a different email address than the one associated with your profile, or maybe a different phone number, or something.  I am just guessing here, but there may be some reason that they are having trouble connecting one with the other.  I would thing they would respond it that is the case, but maybe you should ask.  Just my .02

And don't worry about the blowhards.  They are mostly just trying to get a rise out of you.

Alice, you do know you have to respond from your email on profile right? (And also request the profile hook up from that profile).

Easy, see when I clicked on her link it did not come up for me (and the link is not the same as the one I posted). Hm.

Not a "contact us." their email address is [email protected].
That email has to come from your email address on your profile  ([email protected]) (or you can use the other one since you have 2, but the email HAS to come from the email on your profile, and you should have signed up here for your user account under the same email)
In your email,  simply tell them, "please link my profile #214409 to my username  xxalicexx.
Should be as simple as that, and it happens in hours not days or weeks.

The others have given you good advice about the boards. Definitely grow a thick skin if you ate going to play on the GD.
The newbie board and the over 60 board is very friendly. The regional boards all have their own personalities. Some are friendly. Some are a bit rough. Some are lively. Some are dead.
Good luck with the link. If you follow my instructions it should happen easily. And keep posting.
