I want to run this game plan past those of you that might be able to comment, or want to comment.
I am a very quick shooter. Needless to say, that when multiple pops are not available, I cannot recover quickly. I've just started taking viagra, and have noticed that I will maintain an erection after my initial first shot.
Does this make sense...take the little blue pill, masturbate just before my scheduled visit, and then get a sustained erection, but no ejaculation.

Personally I don’t like Viagra BC as you stated you keep the erection but you are not as sensitive so
It can get just as stressed . I like to use cock rings 2 of them one around the sack and the shaft. This helps and BC I do like to take my time (I need that) I would slow things down or stop. Do some thing else to relax so that you maintain the excitement with out finishing to soon. This takes practice use lots an lots 4-play.

Hey - I use a ring sometimes, because I take a medication that gives me orthostatic hypotension, and as a result, I can lose an erection when moving from laying to kneeling or standing. The cock ring prevents this by very slightly restricting blood flow. Just make sure it's not too tight (it should only restrict veinous return not arterial flow) and that you don't wear it for more than 30 minutes or so at a time. You don't say that you can't pop a second time. I would avoid the little blue pill for reasons stated above. Maybe find a provider who looks at the time, not number of pops. I would think that if you mention to your date that you have this problem and that you wanted to bring a ring to see if it helps. I know it is embarrassing for you, but believe me - most of us have heard it before and we prefer to know what the situation is. I have one friend who shoots quick every pop, doesnt matter how many. I also have been with dates who take Viagra and never pop. I much prefer the first situation. It's hard to not take it personally when someone doesn't finish. Even if it had nothing to do with me.

There are non-medical approaches that are probably worth a try before resorting to drugs. In addition to what other people have suggested, I'll throw in some reading. There are sections relating to various issues, including yours, with associated exercises designed to overcome the problem. Rather than treating with Viagra, which, in addition to needing a doctor's care, has other issues, give a shot to treating the causes.
If persistent effort with various methods doesn't work, then you can always go back to the doctor and plan "V".

I have almost the same problem. I found that special caps work wonders. My fave is from Dur-- and prolongs things without any change in feelings to the provider. I bring one or two with me in sealed containers. Ask the provider if this is ok but I have not had any problems with using them.
