FWIW, you have a limited form of VIP membership.

Any provider who has her handle linked to her profile has so-called limited VIP, which includes PMing privileges.

Which may raise the question:  does a provider need limited VIP (i.e. Handle linked to profile) to post an ad on TER?  And the answer is No.
