As a "newbie" and physician, I have a question about testing for sexually transmitted diseases.

Does any body know if any providers get tested on a regular basis?

I'm sure (at least I hope) that the providers practice a modicum of "safe sex" however, what about their clients?  If they have a STD, it can be passed.

The reason I ask, is because I am going to Vegas and want to enjoy myself, but I do not want to bring home any "surprises."

They get tested on regular basis.

... assume everyone is infected and act accordingly.  You can ASK if the lady has been tested, but chances are it wasn't yesterday and theoretically she could have been infected with something in the interim.
