I'm a newbie, so please be patient, but do I need to ask a lady if she wants to be reviewed or not?

If I were to let her know I'm on TER, and will give her a an accurate review, will that work FOR or against me?

As I do my homework, I'm noticing a good number of ads with no sign of any reviews, and I'm wondering what is up with that?

Do some of these ladies not understand how valuable good reviews can be?

I personally would ask.
Some ladies like reveiws, some don't.

If she wishes for no reveiews, then giving her one anyway would probably work against you.

Otherwise it should make no diffrence...remember you pay for TACO...Time And Companionship Only, so why would a reveiw help or hurt you?  More importantly why should it?  
I'm not sure what you might mean by "work FOR you", but I do hope it has nothing to do with expecting discounts, freebies, extra activities or the like because you all of a sudden have become a "reviewer"...that is generally frowned upon behavior.

Ads with no reviews: the ladies are new, they are rip offs that have changed names, pictures, etc. the are Under the Radar, they have had their reviews pulled for any number of reasons.

Yes, that is it exactly the poor simple women folk don't know how valuable good reviews can be...

or they are new and no one has written one yet,
or they had them pulled because of fake reveiews, or because of reviews that said they engaged in activities they do not, or they don't need an electronic paper trail the moment by moment details of their appointments, or because there has been some talk of reviews being printed out and used as evidence of activity against ladies, or they have an SO or other family, friends, co-workers, whatnot that they don't need to have find pages of reviews talking about how well she loved this or that client's whatever, or she is UTR and doesn't want or need the extra "advertisement", or since it is her business she should chose how and where she is written about and this just may not be where she choses, or any number of other reasons...some good,  some bad.

Ladies who do not allow reviews are not allowed to participate on TER discussion boards, because reviews are what TER is all about.

A provider who publicly states such a policy will have her reviews removed (since she doesn't want them) and be delisted.

I haven't had my coffee yet, so I hope this post isn't incoherent.

Nitescape is a newbie, so he's sticking to well known, well reviewed providers (I hope).  These providers probably subscribe to TER and read their reviews.  So why ask? The fact that they don't mind reviews is implicit.

Once you ask whether you can post a review, you can bet she's going to read it.  And once you realize that, how can you write an objective review? Depending on the provider, _anything_ negative you post in the review may be held against you.  This makes the review almost worthless.  Unless ofcourse, she was so bad you'll never see her again.

My unsolicited advice: Hold off on even writing reviews until you've had some experience.  Providers you'd rate a 7 suddenly become 4's as you gain experience and meet other providers.  Don't ask whether you can write a review.  If she's aware of the review boards and doesn't wish to be reviewed, she should say something to that effect when you meet.

I agree with Wilbury.  Furthermore, I'd add this.  If they ask you if you're a member of TER or it's competitors, if you write reviews, what's your handle, or more specifically if you'll write a review of them, then your best approach is honesty.  "Yes, I'm a member of TER.  Are you?  I occasionally write reviews (or whatever the truth is).  I'll tell you my username if you'll tell me yours.  If you want me to, yes I suspose I can write a review of you (Do NOT promise it, and remember this is your "answer" to their direct question, not something that you're stating out of the blue)."  From my experience, anytime the topic of TER or reviews has come up, I've received OUTSTANDING service.  However, I think it best to let the ladies bring up the topic.  Just play it cool and be as straight as you can, and it'll all work out.

There are two mixed messages that I'm getting here, as a newb.

I don't know that it's actually a "mixed message".  But I think I catch your drift all the same...Your little head and your eyeballs have spotted some providers that don't seem to have any reviews.  What to do, what to do.  Truthfully, only you can answer that for yourself.  This hobby has risks.  Well reviewed ladies lower (but don't eliminate) those risks.  By how much?  It's hard to say for sure, but I'd say it's considerable.  Yet every well-reviewed provider started out with no reviews.  So someone had to take a chance.  I've had that "pioneer spirit" in me from time to time, and have hobbied in the past in a manner that I wouldn't at this point.  I can't tell you anything more than to be carefull, and to let others know about your experiences.

Here's the thing...
You are new to this world, you admit that.

You don't know which ladies want reviews, which don't, which have had reveiews pulled, which have pages of rip off reviews under different names and phone numbers, etc.

You don't know...

So, your real question should be, "Should a newbie who has never done this before take a chance on an ad for an 18 year old he found on Craig's List?" because that really is what you want.

Now, I would tell you, "NO", but that doesn't seem to be what you want to hear.

You want someone to tell you that you can go out into the unchartered waters of CL as a newbie with no idea what you're doing and you really will get the "freaky (in a good way), 18 year old in the pictures, and she really will do "anything you want her to"  and the fact that she lists no price in her ad doesn't mean at best she will try and upsell you, and at worst will try and rip you off (but of course being just a woman she won't be able to take your money)...you want to hear that it will be her at your door, you will get everything that you want and at a huge savings over a well reviewed lady.

Thats' all you really seem to want to hear, that's why you argue the answers you are given, and protest that: this, that or the other won't happen to you...but no one here is going to tell you what you want to hear...because it's not true.

Here is the most likely scenario of the CL ad...she shows up, with a guy out in the car, it is actually her, and she says you have to give her $$$ just for showing up, if you want her to undress it will be $$ more...if you want her to give you a HJ $$ more...BJ? $$$ more, and so on...and the guy in the car...he's outside the room now....and if she raises her voice or screams or gives any indication of anything he's in the room...

So, you either end up paying a lot of money for nothing, or resisit and maybe get your ass kicked, because remember, if they are ROBs, you are not the first person they have done this to.  They have their moves down, because they have done it many times before.

How many times have you fought off someone in that position?  I will guess you might have less experience.

Now if you insist on playing in the waters of CL then I strongly suggest you do your homework...there are places with information about women on CL...you just need to find it now.  Problem is you are too much of newbie to even know what's out there to find...and yet you resist the advice given you.

Well, maybe another newbie will read the posts made in reply to your questions and learn something...

Good question because I never post one before and a lady request I post a review on her. Really don't know how to do it or say since I'm very private.

not all ladies want to be reviewed.

There a many top-class ladies who choose to operate UTR (under the radar).  They do this by choice, an for their own reasons, like being married, going through a divorce, custody battle, have a real career etc.).  If you are fortunate enough to hear about, and see one of these ladies, a review is not appropriate, and may work against you.

I came here asking questions to try to understand how things work, so that I can make things better for myself, and for whatever providers I interact with.

Excuse me, but I think that is the whole purpose of a forum, and ESPECIALLY a "NEWBIE forum".


The purpose should NOT be for people such as yourself or others, to jump on a newbie and talk shit.
