I have found some providers that I am interested in but their bookers ask many questions and asked for referrals. It seems that you have to be on the inside to do and say all the right things. How do you get started? When they want to check references is it other providers or where I work? If I don't have any referrals, how do I get one?

They will want to call you at work to confirm your job.

You could also do a search for screening. Just click the search button at the top of this board. Give it 90 to 300 days, you'll get a ton of posts.

this topic has been discussed numerous times.
use the search feature at the top of the board. References are other providers, however, they may want to make sure you work where you say you work. Screening is part of this hobby, so you better get used to it. Good luck.
