as you can stand, because all the answers are there.  Especially to your question, which is one of the most fundamental to all newbies (I asked it myself on this board last year).  Here's my suggestion (but don't take this as a substitute for doing ALL your homework or you're asking for trouble).
Go to P411's site and register.  Or call their 800# (I also suggest DateCheck as an equally credibile agency but I've never found and 800# for them).  They will explain what info you must provide to get registered.  They prefer to verify your work with a discreet phone call, but if that's a problem for you they will offer alternatives, as they did to me.
Once you're registered, use their search function to find a "newbie friendly" provider.  There are lots of them that will see "Basic Only" clients, those with no references.  Once you've seen one of them, have her give you an "OK" on the site.  That opens up more providers who will see a "Basic Plus One" guy.  Once you have two OKs, almost any gal will see you, although they may have other screening requirements.

It is a sticky wicket to get the first review which (when the Provider sends the link to TER "contact us") links to your reviews & gains you FREE limited VIP & access to TER PM system.   One way to break in is to advertize on your local Regional board...  you do not need a profile to do so...   You are allowed one ad per 7 days on that board.   A few good pictures, some chit chat with the guys, can help get guys comfortable seeing you.  You CAN post or respond on ANY topic on ANY board but must NOT be an ad, no pictures, etc.   Helpful intelligent posts can break the ice.

If you do not have a web site, I recommend you get one.  You need to display the TER link back logo per the instructions.  An inexpensive template site is fine.  You need several pictures (face blurred is fine) need to show yourself from several different angles.  Need not be totally explicit, but this is your chance to convince me that these are your real pictures.  Fuzzy, too small or too few...  Makes me wonder if it is really the same lady.  In the age of digital photography, professional quality pictures need not be costly.

Speaking for myself, I check out the most recent reviews to know who is active in my area...  I draw on these when researching to select for my bucket list.

Hi thanks for the info and advice i'll get on the case asap. i'll pop on the regional board and see whats happening but theres no point me posting an ad as i don't move for another 3 weeks yet but if gents have written a few reviews for ladies on here then im more than happy to email them pics and give them my uk number just so they knw im definetely real, LOL.... I have a website CompanionCasey but it's just the front page thats there just now and it looks fab abd classy already.... just what i asked for so it's being revamped abit as it is my uk site so have to put new pics up and change all the page tags from uk to us. I have most of the outfits i wore in my pics so can wear them in person if requested but my pics are never overly explicit and my face is always blurred for obvious reasons. Anyway thanks again for all your help it's more much needed info on my part

Hugs Casey x
