new to the hobby....been doing it for two months....having fun and have learned alot from the board...just curious...for you veteran hobbyists how often do you get tested for stds and how/where did you go to get tested with being discreet as the priority.....as always thanks for any advice you can give!

Getting discreet testing is easy, just Google STD testing. I found an easy to use national site that allowed me to use my hobby email and my hobby alias. They send you a form to get tested at a local lab and the results are sent to them as the doctor ordering the tests. Then in a few days I get the results in an email at my hobby email. The lab could care less who you are as long as they have an order for the test and they get paid. The particular site I went to even gave instructions on how to remain anonymous. If anything shows up you can call their help line for info, but at that point they would recommend you take your results to your doctor for treatment. You can PM me if you want to know who I used.

While there are many websites that offer confidential testing, I use tstd.org . I have used them several times over the last year and have had no problems. I just buy a prepaid visa card and call them and make a payment. They do not require any name or ID when you go in to test at a local lab. I have never tested positive for anything so far, so do not know how they address that, but usually they send me a text to my hobby phone and an email to my hobby email when the results are available and I log in with their pin number to view the results.
