Difference between "repeat" and "regular" client - providers and hobbyists may respond

I've seen these terms here several times in the few months I've been in the hobby, and I was just wondering what the difference is in terms of a client being a repeat client or a regular client.
Thanks.

Some clients might consider them repeat customers if they see a particular provider once every year or so when they go to a certain town on business.  I do this from time to time.

To me, "regular" would imply a visit on at least a bi-monthly basis if not more frequently, but each of us is free to come up with the definitions that work best.

In any case, it's a lot less complicated than the endless debates on what GFE and A level mean.

I suppose a repeat client could refer to a gentleman on his second or third visit with a particular provider. A regular client could be someone the provider sees every Tuesday from 6-8PM and has been doing so for a significant period of time.

But your right, if the client repeats enough he will be viewed as a regular client.

I consider a regular, to generalize, to be a client I see 2-4 times a month. However, there are exceptions. I have a gentleman who travels and is on a somewhat irregular schedule but sees me every time he's in town- about once a month since I started in May. Another client saw me very regularly throughout the summer but in the fall will not be able to see me as often- he is still a regular. :) I'd say that alongside a somewhat regular schedule of repeat visits, a "regular" is someone with whom I really enjoy being with and have developed a fondness for. There is a certain affection I feel when I talk about my "regulars" which is not defined by their # of visits. The term "repeat-client" is often used (by me, at least) to describe a client on their second or third sporadic visit, and also often someone who repeats with me but is clearly in it for the sex only and little personal interaction or get-to-know-you is involved. Everyone sees it a bit differently but this is how I've come to use these terms in my career.

For me a "repeat" client is someone I have seen at least once in the past.  A "regular" is someone who sees me with some regularity, e.g. "once a month, once every other week, once a week."

A repeat client is a guy who has seen a lady previously.  I've repeated with about a dozen ladies in five years.

A regular is a guy who sees a certain lady every month, every-other week, etc.  If I had the cash and the time (damn work), there would be a few regular ladies in my life.  Right now, that is out of the question.

Just my thoughts-
I agree with keystone and a few of teh statements made by other providers.... my regulars were the gents who had an agreement to spend time with me specific days of each month. (*every second Tuesday..... every Sunday evening, or the first night of every home stand ~maybe that was TMI- LOL*)

Repeat clients were just that- a gentleman who decided to spend time with me again.

From a providers prospective: (*or at least from mine*) a repeat client was usually one that afforded me a chance to enjoy our connection and to expand on the enjoyment we had already established in previous meetings....... Regulars always gave me the opportunity to let down my guard and enjoy both the friendship as well as the physical side. Regulars were also the gentlemen who were offered the opportunity to continue planning meetings when I no longer made myself available to the general public.

Just in my opinion:  A huge difference in terms of the comfort level on my end.
