difference between observation and criticism

let me set you straight on somethings. i am not new to the hobby. i am not new to reading ter boards. what i am new at is as a member. thats what i meant by new. capisce?

here is some perspective-- ive read ter boards on and off for 5 years. haven't read for a while. i decide to join and submit reviews. the first thing a read is a storm or controversy about recent changes. surprised me.

that is an observation, got it?

i used the word drama. bfd.

i went to national board and found even more. after reading posts I find ladies called hoes men called johns & some guy gonna leave the board cuz someone was rude, & people begging him not to. contoversy again.

if i wouldn't said sumpim like 'the whole lot are babies wa wa wa " that would be a critisism.

then my posts dont show up. im wonderin wtf? and i find 2 of em on the newbie board. and someone rakin me as a newbie. more drama. drama. i used it agin. drama. don't get upset.

i never have expected misinterpretation and politically correct - style overreactions let alone all the drama. what the hell is happening to ter?

im new here. ive read the boards before joining. whats changed? there is so much angst and offense. this is justa flippin discussion board. it all seems a little over the top to me.

a little slack... as a self-procliamed newbie, it's not the best introduction for you to go on the boards and diss the participants.

Perhaps you could show a more little discretion in your snap judgements.

I find the difference of opinion make it more interesting.

Drama here has been very insightful. It's another slice of life. I have learn a lot about the woman who post here, the guys as well. Although I admit to being much more interested in the ladies.

Among other things I see these boards as marketing tools for providers.

Don't ever let anything here bother you. This the internet, it shouldn't follow you home.

At least that what I think.

if you don't want to read the FL board, don't.  No skin of our noses.  We have drama there all the time.  We get over it.  So should you, or just go read Houston or one of those other boards that has no posts on them.

im in fla. so i go to that board. its flamin'. it dont bug me. i am fine. but i am wondering why eveyone is not fine. maybe a fla thing, you know. but last time i read ter a year or so ago it was calmer

i go to national. same thing. is it a pandemic? f'd up emotions everywhere? wow. i'm fine. it don't bug me. i make the observation. i post it
then people who cant see the world outside of their own narrow emotional spectrum think i gotta problem with it and tell me to get over it. im still fine. just like i was before.

my momma taught me young to accept other poeple, appreciate the good, and to suffer fools.
im fine. and try to read this without adding in your own value-oriented interpretation. ready... there is drama on the board. now that didn't hurt did it? i feel great and i hope you do too. smooch.

Since you have not been a *contributor* and have not worked at building pseudo-relationships here, you're a noob as far as we're concerned.

If you personally want to experience anything *but* drama here, dial it back a little.

Try the P & R board. I see you posted a similar post on the Florida board, and you were welcomed rather warmly. Consider that a gift. There are some boards here that would have torn you up. If you stick around, you'll find that all of the boards have some days that get a little testy, but for the most part, it's a pretty good place to hang around.

Give them a little break.  Things happen.  The point here is they were nice to you when you pointed out how drama filled the board was.  Hungry was right; there are some boards that wouldn't have been so sweet.

Go back and dive in!  It's Fl; where a peninsula is surrounded by warm, lapping waters! ;)

i would still wonder whats going on. maybe it doesnt stand out if you you are already here but to someone coming back to the boards it jumps up at you.

And just because you're a newbie, it doesn't mean you should not be able to post. That was a perfectly valid point of view.

Like many things regarding s_x, some are hard-driven, some are softies, some are just limp.

why wait for three weeks to comment about today?

if things were calm in three weeks that won't change the fact that there is drama today and i feel like posting. I didn't insult you sparky, now did i?
but i am beginning to see why there is drama. in addition to the intelligent, interesting and relevant posts, there are many that show little thought or comprehension of the discussion. many are just reactionary. like you trying to scold me. like you telling me me I put my foot in my mouth. i dont think i did. i stand by my observations.

wtf? what does that have to do with the op? help me out here. what does that have to do with the fact that i observed drama the boards the day i became a member? its unrelated. did i talk about ladies? no. I been in the hobby a while. did you read that? no.  did i give you advice? no. but you sure have advice for me. thats ok. im good with it. here's my return advice: physician, heal thyself

NOT ONE person snapped at you for it.  You did not get a single negative post on your thread.
Maybe we were all to tired from the drama!  Yes, we have our days, but when it's over...it's over!
None of it spilled on to you, so I guess I'm just curious as to why you even posted this....other than to start the same drama you seem to abhor!

and it doesn't seem to be the Providers that have short fuses. I think i have a suggestion.  Don't speak until you have seen one of our lovely providers and then come back.   :)
