Often providers will not respond without that. You can also state that in addition to that specific request, you can be flexible if that time is already taken.

Otherwise, anything is possible. She could have changed her mind about coming, or maybe some personal issue has arisen that is taking priority, among other possibilites.

Send a second message and if that fails, move on.

Am I doing something wrong?

I am a complete newbie. I have found a visiting provider with many great reviews. I went to her website, a week in advance of her scheduled arrival in my city, found her contact email, and sent her the requested information. The website said that her first time clients should allow 24-48 hours in advance. It is now 4 days since I sent the emailed information. I believe that my email was appropriate (sent requested information, no vulgar language, no discussion of fees, etc.) What could I have done wrong?

Don't worry about it, maybe she is booked at the

time you requested, or the whole time, she could be low volume, have already changed her plans, etc. Who knows.

Just move on. It sounds like you did your home work and sent an appropriate email.

Refine your style a little and try again.

If you post your appointment request here the ladies will give you feedback, they don't bite on this board.

Could be that you need nothing wrong. It could have been just timing. Depends on how long she had planned on staying, and possibly got more responces than she could handle.

If you really want to meet her, send one follow up email.

Reiterating your interest. Do not barrage her with emails.

Sometimes an email gets into spam folder. Sometimes just lost in cyberspace. It is not 100% delivery rate.

Thank you for your responses. I had sent her a second message.
Being new, I guess that I am also naive. I guess I was expecting at least a response to the email saying, "Thank you for your interest, but I am booked".

That's the least you could expect....

So many ladies refer to being treated with respect, etc. etc. Assuming your e-mails were respectful, you should get a thanks, but no thanks. Apparently her economy is doing pretty good. dont fret it man, there are many good ladies!!

Sometimes things just happen. All the answers above could be probable causes. Sounds like you did everything correctly, so don't let your first attempt get you down. Try a different lady if this one doesn't work out. You'll get there eventually.
And when you do, post a review on TER.

but hasn't gotten back to you. Sometimes ladies do have other obligations that get in the way of answering e-mail.

Move on to another highly reviewed lady.

Still having problems!!

Thank you all for your suggestions. I took your advice, and decided to move on. I saw on TER that a provider was unexpectedly going to be in my city for a few days, and to call her cellphone for an appointment. After checking out her reviews, I decided to take the plunge and give her a call. I called, and left a message saying:
1. I was a nervous first-time caller
2. I saw on the internet (did not mention TER) that she was going to be in my city for a few days, and could we make an appointment to meet.
3. Gave her my name and cellphone number.

I also went to her website, and filled out the contact form, with identical information, giving both my cellphone and email as contact points.

I still have not heard back. This is not helping my self-esteem!!

And while I'm on the topic of mood and self-esteem, I have another question. Given the choice (which by the looks of things I don't have), should I see a provider when I am down, to help cheer me up, or to see her when I am in a good mood, so that I could presumably enjoy the experience more.

First, sorry you're having so much trouble. It does get easier with experience - and references.

Now, from your description of your message to the second provider, I can only say a few things.
One, it sounds like you acted appropriately.
Two, why not mention that you saw her on TER? She may infer from that bit of information that you are more serious than the average schmo and might be more inclined to respond.
Three, you might want to add specific information like that you want a one hour appointment, incall (or outcall), in {your city}, around such-and-such time. She would then see that you are not out to waste her time.

As far as the mood thing, I might suggest you don't try to 'hobby away' a sour mood. The emotions you bring into the session will directly impact the tenor and quality of your time together. Go in with a good attitude.

Hang in there, we were all in your shoes at one time. And it was pretty crowded, what with all those bodies crammed in there at once

Please don't let this affect your self esteem there are a million reasons why a lady is hard to get ahold of and I would bet it's nothing you have done. Sometimes things just happen, unexpected events in our personal lives, computers go down, phones get dropped in the toilet (maybe that's just me but I've had it happen several times) Just relax eventually you'll be able to get ahold of your choice and hopefully it will be worth the wait!
