I'd almost want to say the risk is lower than your average bar hookup because if anything escorts are must more particular about hygiene and std prevention. It's our job, so we don't fuck around. ;]

does any hobbyist have the experience of getting STD from the hobby? I know there are links about the statistics, but just want to know practically if anyone gets it.

also, any thoughts about the concern of getting STD from the hobby and transmitting that to the spouse? i mean, even if i decided to accept the risk of getting STD for myself, having the risk of transmitting it to my spouse is a larger obligation.

this is a risky business. Doing ALL things covered is the safest way, and yes many hobbyists have reported getting HPV and Herpes from providers. YOU have to protect YOURSELF, YOUR family, and YOUR sanity, so don't pass the buck to anyone else.

Its either a healthy active sex life...or celibacy.

At least most escorts get tested and use protection. That's more than you can say for the local Pub throw you hit a few years back. IMO you are waaaayyyy more likely to pick up an STD in the civie world because there is a false sense of security.

But hey...I'll play along. I posted a link for you below so you can learn something about the worlds oldest STD...Its up to you to type Gonorrhea and Syphilis into the Google.

You are just a lot better off not being involved here at all.

I can only speak for myself, but in 20+ years I have not gotten an STD.

Maybe that's just luck.  Who knows?

But if you have a spouse or SO, you are potentially putting her at risk every single time.  Live with the risk.  Or don't.
