I'm wondering about whether it matters that some providers have a number of positive reviews that are mainly written by reviewers who have each only written that single review. Should I be evaluating the reviewer as much as the review, and weighting thoser reviews from hobbyists with a larger body of reviews?

Hobbyists should want to see at least 5-6 reviews from established reviewers (that have at least 5 or 6 reviews themselves).  A lot of reviews from 1 review guys could mean these reviews are fake reviews.  I said, could.

I hear what your saying but I have two reviews from 2 hobbyists that I have seen of course that are just starting out as well, doesnt mean the reviews are fake. I understand that it does happen.
