I'm traveling to Richmond, VA tomorrow, and was curious as to which regional board to post under. I see some girls using the Washington, DC region, but wouldn't "Other Cities" be more appropriate?

Hey Sasha!  Richmond is sort of a dead zone...I travel to the area alot and start my search on both boards...from what I've seen the Washington, DC board gets a bit more traffic so if you can only postin one place I'd pick there.  I'm not sure if its allowed but if possible why not post on both??

It's true. Richmond sort of falls into a TER purgatory for locale. It's actually close enough to be considered part of the DC metro area, but just barely. I searched the DC and Other boards for posts containing "richmond" for the last 30 days and the DC board had more (not a significant amount) posts and advertisements than the "Other" board.

You might get a slightly higher exposure on the DC board, but I have to wonder if you might get more false hits from calls based on a DC ad, versus an "Other" ad. I have no idea, but it's a question that comes to mind.

Sounds like there might be good reason for TER to consider exceptions to the one board once a week policy, but that would be a lot of trouble to deal with.

Bon chance.

Thanks gentlemen. I agree that the DC board would probably get me more exposure for the VA area so I'll just post there. I could not find anywhere that stated I could post in both places, and being that I am new to using TER boards I don't want to chance it. Again guys, Thanks...

We have several providers up here that post on both the Boston and New England boards to announce availability and tours.  They don't seem to run afoul of the mods.  Just sayin..
