Is a good service, as well as others, in so far as speeding up your pre-screening with a provider. They basically just verify your employment and phone number, but more importantly list the providers who have vouched for you. A reputable provider is still probably going to ask for info. as previously mentioned. The thread on Pamela Martin is a rare occurance, but a risk that we all take, unless you want to risk seeing a provider who does no screening.

There is a scary thread on the DC Board about Pamela Martin threatening to sell her client list.  What is the standard info a provider asks for?  Can date check help?  Thanks.

Standard info needed usually calls for full name, business name, direct business phone number.
Additional info usually asked for:
Cell phone #
City/State you are in and
e-mail address

No, under circumstances as given re Pam Martin case, a screening service does not normally help, but it is rare this happens.  If you want to hobby, you have to take risks - they are just a fact of life on both client and provider side.
