Could one of you Hobby Vets give me the breakdown of what Date-Check's Will Entertain Categories actually mean? Newbie Friendly, All Members, Verified Members and Verified Members (1+,2, 3 Verifications)??? It may seem a dumb question, but for those of us just starting out - we just want the path of least resistance to get our "foot" in the door! Does "Newbie Friendly" mean that as long as you have a Date-Check membership that they will see you? And how does that differ from "All Members" and "Verified Members"? How the heck does it work!?! Thanks in advance to those Hobby Vets who are kind enough to guide me and my fellow newbies.
As I understand it....
Newbie Friendly = Sees first-timers, Date-Check member or not
All Members = Sees all members (duh!), first-timer or not, verified or not
Verified Members = Sees members who have been verified by at least one providers
(1+, 2, 3) = number of provider verifications she requires
However, there's nothing that guarantees that these are her ONLY consideration in deciding to see you. For example, a Newbie Friendly provider may require your employment info. Or one who sees verified members may also want a separate provider reference.
You could ask Date-Check, but I doubt if their answer would add much, nor should you expect every provider to conform to their definitions. Ultimately, it's up to each provider to set her own guidelines and apply them case-by-case. For some, verification is all they need to know. For others, it's one piece of the picture.
Thanks for the info. So, would you say that most Newbie Friendly are going to ask for a bunch of personal info (ie. - Full Name, Business Info, etc.), so that it just might be worthwhile to start with Date-Check / P411 who are going to ask for that info anyway? Any suggestions on the best way to get started in the New England area and any recommendations for ladies who can offer the path of least resistance? Would an agency with TER ladies be a good way to go? Any help would be great from you Hobby Vets.
Just because you're registered with P411 or Date-Check is no guarantee a provider won't ask you for additional screening info, especially if you're a newbie with no references on the site. But both services are good because they'll at least make clear which girls are newbie friendly.
Re New England info, can't help you there.
Whether that's a majority or not is hard to say. A big reason many providers are members is so that they don't have to go through the work of checking your info or contacting references. So it stands to reason that many of them will be satisfied to know that you had to provide that to Date-Check/P411, and that it checked out. In short, it's useful enough to definitely make it worth paying for.
When I wrote that there's no guarantee, I didn't mean to suggest more than just that. Some will want more than the minimum indicated. On P411, I believe providers are able to describe their requirements more fully (e.g., "Verified members with 2 provider references"). On Date-Check, it appears to be a simple multiple choice.
So, if I am going to have to give all my personal info to DC & P411, what is the point of the provider reference? Does it actually reduce the amount of info you have to give to these services? And if so, is it then worthwhile to find a somewhat trustworthy, well reviewed escort and go through her screening to make it easier to join & therefore give these services less info to retain if ever they get busted? Just wondering what the Hobby Vets think - in a nutshell, is it better to trust the info with providers or services? Sorry for the dumb questions, but isn't want the Internet and TER is for? Thanks again to you Hobby Masters, from the Newbie Grasshopper!
There is no "one size fits all" answer here. Many providers will just accept a P411 or Date-Check profile if it includes multiple Provider OKs. But not all, especially if you're new. As for the security of your info if the service gets busted, I only had to give info to P411 and they claim to destroy it once you're verified. However, P411 is located in Canada where prostitution is legal, so it's not likely US LE will get at your info even if they kept it. Besides, LE here wouldn't go that route to bust a john. Most LE busts are of lower-end girls or agencies. Giving info to an agency is a bad idea.
PS: By the time I joined Date-Check I had enough references to I did not have to give pesonal info.
Yes, with one provider reference you can join Date-Check without giving nearly as much personal info. It also qualifies you for a free 90-day trial membership. P411 requires two references to reduce the info you have to give them, and doesn't offer trial memberships. References must also be members of the respective service, of course.
This is all spelled out on Date-Check's FAQs and P411's help line. It has also been discussed in many threads here. You can easily find them using search.
I happened to have references from provider members when I joined both services. I didn't set out to do it that way. No, I wouldn't recommend giving a provider personal info in order to avoid giving it to a verification service. Vice versa, maybe. But how much you're willing to give out and to whom is something everyone has to decide for one's self.
I want to thank rightonppl & inicky46 for being so gracious and helpful in alleviating some of our Newbie fears and guiding us as we get started in this wonderful hobby. I know these questions probably get asked hundreds of times, though, as in this case, how pleasant and detailed the answers were from these two great Hobby Vets makes taking the plunge feel a whole let safer and easier. I've decided to just jump in and set up accounts with DC & P411 and just rip the proverbial "band-aid" off and get this thrill ride started. Can't thank you guys enough for helping me along.
You had good questions. Maybe by the time some of us get sick of helping, you'll have it all down well enough to take over. Rock on.
