Date-check I am ready to sign up.  I have NOTHING to hide but I am a little concerned with the call to verify your work place.  Will they do a script for you if you ask? I feel that it puts the provider and myself at more ease if I go ahead and sign up for Date-check.  Please give me some advice.  I love this place!!

A lot depends on the region where you live and hobby. Date Check or Room Service 2000 is very popular in the mid west and some of the east; but not so prevalent out west.

The calls to your work place (if/when they occur)will be along the lines of the caller posing as a lending agent, realtor, or something to the like. Once your company operator/receptionist verifies your employment with the company the call is politely ended by the provider or verification service.

The folks at Date-Check are great to work with, just tell them your concerns and I believe you will have no problems. From your handle I assume you are in VA and DateCheck is by far the most popular, which for you simply means more providers in your area are members.

Just remember when you first join, DCheck is not quite going to be a key to unlock all provider's doors. The value in any service is the member references that will be added to your profile after you have seen each lady. At first the only thing that shows is that your employment has been verified.

-While the site is National, it has tremendous strength in the DC/Virginia area. I can reiterate the statements that have already been made in regards to any contacts with any employer- I know for a fact a few Government employees who were screened by a phone call and the staff at date-check is very verse in assuring discretion as well as anonymity to anyone that they are involved with.

I think you can feel very comfortable in utilizing that site as an online reference. Please also consider WildTurkey's statement about the doors opening for all providers just because you belong to date-check.... while date-check does give providers a more established level of comfort, many still insist ion a contact or two that they are familiar with who can vouch for a client. -It's for everyone's safety so while it might be frustrating when you are first introduced to the system, in the long run it does protect everyone to a higher level of confidence when planning a meeting.
I hope you find what you are seeking-
