Are the date and time on posts in a particular time zone???? Are they timed by when they were submitted or posted or approved??? It seems like in some threads the posts are not in chronological order but grouped by author. It sometimes seems confusing. Am I doing something wrong??? I'd sure appreciate any suggestions.
On the old TER, all posts were dated for PST or PDT. If you were on the east coast, you just subtracted three hours and you knew when the posts went up. This was often important because the posts of moderated members didn't go up for hours after they wrote it, and it helped to make sense of the discussion.
On the new TER, however, each person can select the time zone they are in so posts come in with confusing times on them. In some cases they come without any times.
