I don't deal with paying bills at home. My SO does.  Does the charge for VIP membership really come as discreet and untraceable or does it carry a risk.  I am sick of not reading my private mail!!!

Here's what shows up on my bill:

I also have the same exact entry for another item from the
same billing service.  I'm sure the source of the charge
is just a phone call away.

There's going to be a line item on your bill, so I would avoid
paying with a credit card.  Try alternative means of paying.

if the credit card option worries you.  If you're super-paranoid, buy (with cash, of course) and mail the order from a post office that you don't normally frequent.  I've used this method, and it works very well.

your name only have it mailed to your office or a p.o. box never keep a balance on it ..... the problem with billing of TER is that there is always a phone number she can call if she wants to get real nosey.....hobby safe hobby well hobby all you can be ....

..As you can get one pretty much anywhere for under a dollar, and they are certainly non-traceable.

That way there is no credit card to deal with at all.  Sure you need to lick a stamp and a envelope, but that is good practice for licking later

When the money is received at Warped Monkey, you do not get some confirmation letter coming to your home, you may get email but I am not sure since I last renewed VIP about 2 months ago.  I like the money order route, as pointed out, you can buy the money order anywhere, address it and mail it.  The only thing that you need to be careful about is printing out the membership document that you need to mail with the money order, probaly not a good idea to leave it on a printer somewhere - especially one that an SO has access to, eventhough most people would not understand what it was for.
    The process was fast during the two times that I did it since joining.  Normally my VIP membership is set within something like 10 days of my mailing the money order and membership document.
    The only downside I see with the money order route is that you can not buy a membership longer than one quarter last I checked.  It is easier for me to buy an annual membership and forget about the renewal date for a year.
