After you have two reviews accepted you will get 30 daysof VIP. Then you get 15 more days for each additional review.

That's why I use an alias.  It weeds out the non-VIPs from being able to contact me on things.

If you can't afford the $30 or so a month for VIP, I gotta question what you are doing on this board trying to get info on providers can charge upwards of $500/hour.

We are notorius for being careful with our dough.

I'll admit that when I started out I relied on reviews to pay for my VIP, but it was stop and go as the number of reviews didn't keep pace with the 15 day VIP awarded for each.

That left me with a large in-box of unread PMs, so I broke down and paid up.

I have to say all in all paying for VIP is worth it for the convenience.

you get 2 days free, BigP is always bragging he has years of VIP from filling them out.

By submitting problem reports and things like that.

Is $30 really that much to gripe about when it means saving potentially $300 to $500 or more on a session where you could have had some good research going into it?

Or the ability to correspond with other reviewers who have seen the provider?

Against spending $300 or more on a session you could have easily avoided.

People who are really trying to get a few free days of VIP are just not worth the time, IMHO.

They might as well show up to a provider with rolls of coins.

...trying to encourage others to do problem reports.  Besides the free VIP, you will be helping keep the profiles accurate.

And paying $3,000. for VIP when you can spend it on providers  --  that's some "crazy shit."

Then that's your thing.  Personally, that's not even the TIP I leave with bodyrub girls for a job well done with no extras.

I guess $3000 over a period of 100 months is a big deal if you don't spend that much on this hobby to begin with.

Using your rationale, I could also save $3000 over 100 months if i just took the bus to work over having a car payment, too.  I mean, there's lots of math that adds up to $3k over 100 months.  I'm sure my change jar could add up to 10x or 20x that amount.

In fact, I'm pretty sure I could empty the change jar now and have about $300 to spend.  :)

Seems to me that you wouldn't ever be able to afford a session in order to find issues to file said "problem report."

Not to be a penny pincer but not having a car means you have about $500 A month freed up that you could spend on the hobby...  so over the course of 100 months...

It's $30/month, and you are spending, what, $200 per encounter?

Seriously...do you pay your providers in rolls of coins, too?

You are paying a big amount of money to see a provider.  If you need to save $30, consider another hobby...one that doesn't require so much money.

...the only way to do a problem report is to see the provider in person?  ROFLMAO!!

And like I said, if you are trying to get a few days of free VIP by filing a problem report, it goes to follow that you don't have the money to go see a provider.

Or maybe you are one of those guys who will put thousands of dollars at risk for at least four hours/day on a Vegas gambling table in order to get a free room that woulda cost you $150/night.

Because those guys also exist.

One problem report at a time.

Like I said, if you can't afford to play in this price range for this hobby, you shouldn't be squabbling over how to get two days of free VIP.

But as I said to another poster...this topic needs to die between us.  You see your side, I see my side, and neither of us will ever convince the other.

Have fun with your problem reporting.  Meanwhile, my ATF is coming over for an overnight.  Oh, and here's something you can deduce for my retirement plan.  She charges $500/hour.  She spends the night at my place for a laughably low $250 flat rate.  At this point, the $250 is just a token of appreciation and respect for her time.

Don't bother trying to figure out who she is.  She isn't reviewed by me.  :)
