If your post does not have any text inside, please type an indicator in the subject line letting us know that's the case. An example would be "I love DATY!!! eom (end of message, there's no text inside, I simply just love DATY, end of message!)".

This is just a helpful reminder to old and new members.

...a few words to say in response to a post, delete the text on the subject line and write the few words there.

Example of the wrong way:

  I think it is going to rain today.(eom)
     
    Re: I think it is going to rain today. (eom)
    No, it isn't. (eom)


Right way:

    I think it is going to rain today. (eom)

       No it isn't. (eom)

...and edit your message. In the above case, he could go back, delete everything in the message box and add EOM to the subject line.

Actually, you will find "eom" to be quite helpful when trying to manage your time and weed out posts with no text in the inside. Or at least I do as a provider who cares about her time. Further, for many of my clients (and I would assume a great deal of men on this board), as busy professionals, their time is the most important thing to them, thus an indicator to inform them there is no text inside a post is simply courteous and not anal.

It makes reading these forums so much easier.

...'overview' posts.  If you reply to a post in a thread, it won't follow the post in the 'view all' mode as it does in 'overview'.

Hm... I guess I overlook at times features that would make it easy for me and save time...

I do not think it's anal to want people to use EOM.  I have better things to spend my time on then wasting it on clicking for no reason.  I can normally tell the newbies / lazy / just forgot to do it... people.  I have accidently done it a few times but I try not to.

The past three monthes I estimate I lost an hour or more because of this.  I could have gotten a massage in that time or something better lol.
