When you get whitelisted is that just the provider telling you she will be a reference if you need one, or is there somewhere in here they can note that I was a good customer?

checked, if anyone looks up your reviews they will see a list of the providers who white listed you, and when they did so.

You can click on the reviews link to the right of my user name to see an example.

All they can do is add to your whitelist count.  It means, for the most part, that they have seen you and found you to be a good guy.  They can't put any comments on it.  When a provider sees their name on your whitelist, they cant email them and get more info about you.
