A post on my region's board got me thinking!  The poster asked how much time people spend on this site, or on these types of sites in general.  So I'm going to be asking the same here, along with a request for some additional info.

I'm new, and trying to do my due diligence learning about the "hobby".  My problem is TIME.  I don't have much of it, especially on a safe computer.  No way at work, as everything is monitored.  I heard of a few people being let go for "inappropriate" use of their computers over the past few years.  I don't want to join that club!  Back at home, the wife and kids are usually always around, and I want to spend time with them.  I tend to work long hours, so I know it's important to be with family.  The times when I can sneak away to do some research is limited.  Plus, my heart races all the time in fear of being surprised and caught by one of them.  As a result, I find it very difficult to really do the research that I think I need to be safe.

At first I thought that I would just ask questions and wait for the answers on the board.  I'm not lazy, just have no time.  However, now that I've looked at this board a bit I can understand why I probable need to keep reading (research, research, research).

So I'm wondering just how much time some of you guys spend.  How much time did you spend when you were new to this?  How much time once you became a "vet".  Did your time go down once you got to know the ropes, or did it just switch to checking more boards, and ads.  I can see where this would become addicting, especially for someone who has yet to pull the trigger and go for it.  Ahhh anticipation!

Just wondering as I'm thinking that it's going to take me a year at my pace!

I am on here a lot but I'm retired. I work part time at a fun job that leaves me lots of time. Reading this board and the Self-Help Center will do the most good in a short amount of time. Reading the discussions over time will help in the long run.

I didn't see a provider for about 6 months after finding an escort agency and TER. By then I was comfortable. The agency has a board and there was more time and a smaller community that was able to help me with PM's and newbie info on the board.

I'm blessed to be able to use TER at work and I'm single so I can view it any time at home.

I end up on here about 3-4 hours/day, on average.

But ten years ago when I was married and had kids, finding time to hobby or do anything like that was so rare.

Where there is a will, there is a way, so I'm sure you'll find some way to do this.  Perhaps using some hand held device during lunch?

If so doing errands and stopping for coffee and quiet time might work. I have a 10 inch mini and when family is around or visiting them out of town I look for good WIFI spots. Not every place is good to use for adult sites but I have found many that work. Don't put your pass code and handle in if unsure just be a lurker here. Only thing with that is you can't post or use your VIP if you have purchased it. A good antivirus is a must.

PS : if this might help you out i'm sure the men on this board know ways of staying under the radar on public WIFI so you can post.  just post the question

To answer your how much time...PLENTY.... but I enjoy reading the boards and getting involved. I also am free to do so at leisure from home.
