Hello!
I'm new to TER!
Still trying to get the hang of things!
I can't seem to get my ad posted to save my life!
Anyways, I'm excited to be here!

Find the life preserver at the top right of the main page for this board, and underneath is a link for "Self-Help". Ad postings and many things you may never have even considered are explained very well in self-help. Also, read back a ways through postings on the Newbie Board.. most questions have been asked and answered, and you'll get a flavor for things on the Boards as well.

Good luck!

TER has rules for posting ads which are explained in the self help center, read it.  If you have a personal website, it must have a link to TER on one of the first 2 pages, or an ad will be denied.

It says I can link by TER profile. But when I did the ad was still rejected... So confused!

I'm a guy so I've never posted an ad but I'm wondering if you are putting your TER Profile link in the box at the bottom of the posting page?  It says "link URL".  If you have NO OTHER ad to link to, I think you put your TER Profile link there.  "http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?ID=238667" goes in the box.

You can then put some descriptive text in the "link title" box: "Ariel's TER Profile".

That's what I did on this post.

You DO have other ads, so I think you can put one of those in the "link URL" box, instead.

If you're still confused the way I explain things, welcome to the club!

I'm not sure why they aren't allowing it. As imposter mentioned, are you putting your profile link in the right spot, and copying and pasting it correctly? If so, there may be some other reason they are denying your ad. Look at the top of the page and click on "myTER" then check "my message boards." Find the ad message and there should be a reason it was denied. If you don't understand the reason, click on 'contact us" at the bottom of the page and ask them. They should give you an answer.

Swim's info on having the TER link on your website is true IF you have a website and want to link to it, but you don't need to link to a personal website. You can link to your review profile, or one of your ads. You can also link to a profile on one of the verification sites such as p411.

I know a provider who had a personal website but did not want the TER link on it, but she ran ads all the time linking to her review profile (which in turn had a link to her website).

Good luc
