Anyone else had cold feet as the meeting approached?

Just rambling here...

Got a business trip coming up and was initially looking forward to some hobbying after MANY years off.  But as the time draws near, I look at my family and think "Can I do that?".  Then look at financial needs and think "Can I afford that?"   (in my case, $200 - $500 could go a long way towards a new bike frame, but that's for another discussion!)

I think I've been careful to cover my tracks (thanks TER!) and the risks are pretty low what with the arrangements I've made and who I've made them with (and hope to make them with after the first one).

Not asking for help/advice/justification/beatings, just curious if anyone else has had cold-feet before?

Thanks!

One guy told me that he was in bed with his wife before his trip to my state and just felt too guilty and cancelled with me the next morning for our appointment that evening. I do recall one saying he looked again at his finances and just didn't think it was a good idea to go through with it.

Maybe your little voice is trying to tell you something and you should listen to it. :-)

Last December I had planned a nice overnight with a favorite provider to include dinner, show and everything. Her cost was 2.2k and when all other expenses were added up, my net cost was about 3k give or take. The more I though about it, the more I realized that I couldn't justify that 3k number and didn't want to live with buyer's remorse.

In the end I simply decided to forget about the whole plan. There was nothing to cancel as I had not even inquired or set an appointment with said provider yet.

I have a budgeted amount each month for the hobby, actually all our family expenses, and the money doesn't cross over, for example, I don't take grocery money and spend on going to the movies, used to do it with envelopes when we were younger, now it's accounting.  I also have a part time job that is strictly for the hobby. I put it in a separate account. I do the same thing with gambling money, if I win it goes back into a separate account.  I've been playing with the same money for five years.  This year I'm pretty flush with hobby money, taking it to Vegas, but the hobby money only gets spent on the girls, the gambling money only gets spent on gambling and I have an annual vacation budget that is for the other expenses.

No cold feet here, I love the twice annual hobby vacation, it makes my otherwise stressful life worth living.

I also have a budget for broken bike frames lol

While I do get nervous when I have a date with someone new, I have never gotten to the point where I wanted to cancel it.  I put some $$$ aside each month for hobbying.  If I spend it, fine, if not, it's there for saving up for overnight visits, which are rare, but lots of fun.

for a reason.
Not gonna beat u up here, but, if u have to ask yourself, "can i do that"...well, then you shouldn't.
I don't get cold feet, cause other than money, i have nothing stopping me.
Choose wisely my friend!!

Only time I get a little nervous is when I toftt or see a provider with one or two reviews, from hobbyists who don't have much of a review history.

I would have some buyer's remorse, but I'd always go back to it.

I say, if it is your first time, go for it.

You'll have plenty of time afterwards to think about if you want to do it again, but if you never go through with it, you'll never know.

It's better to regret something you have done, then something you haven't done before.

I have seen a few (about 15) ladies over the course of the 1 year I have been hobbying.  Each time I go to see a lady I have cold feet.  My solution is to bring a pair of low cut white socks (like tennis socks) that serve to keep my feet warm during our date.  I read in a article that women and men have more intense orgasms when they wear socks while having sex.  It has to do with redirecting blood flow from your "cold" feet to the critical areas (penis/vagina).  Also, I know several providers that wear socks during dates.  An added plus of a lady wearing socks is the sense of accomplishment I get when I fuck them so good that it knocks their socks off! (LOL)

when you first start hobbying you are always nervous..you never know how the session will go..then after a while you develop an inner confidence..you never have cold feet..you cant wait to see her..most times they are much more nervous than you are..they never really know who will come through that door..once the ice is broken..the last thing on your mind is cold feet..if you have the same attitude toward every provider you see..it always goes well..they know when you are comfortable..then they feel comfortable too..the session is always awesome..

rule of thumb is to budget what you will spend per date, per month, or however. Do not use rent money, other necessary living expense money, money for your children's well-being, etc.

ONLY use discretionary income that you can afford to miss. l, for one, use bonus money, refunds from whereever, and other non-regular sources for my play money.

First time was the worst for me, no experience in the hobby, all went very well but it took
20 minutes to put my heart back in my chest. Good luck!
