Main newb page upper right hand corner under the life preserver.  You can search topics on all boards by using the search feature as well.  If you have a particular question, it has probably been asked and answered already, and thats where the search tool comes in.  

This is from me, A.H., given your concerns about getting arrested, you should probably take some time to acquire the skill set that will help you to avoid getting arrested.  You should probably spend some significant time reading the self help center (several times), and then you should probably spend some significant time reading this FAQ for newbies board.

the good news is that all the info you need is right here, you just need to take some time to teach yourself what you need to know.  The bad news is there is no short cut, and you will have to  take some time to teach yourself what you need to know.

yeah this happened to me for the first time i just dove in and gambled, i was lucky =D. to be safe i would search for reviews on them, good reviews, go with the flow. Also get a prepaid cellphone one at target got mine for $9 i used cash so you don't leave a paper trail. also put money in a envelope and leave it on the table or give it to them whatever they ask for. Also remember money is for their time only! if they hint on "fs" for money just walk away. Also please don't bring any valuable with you for safety purposes. Make sure your groomed as well.
