That's always one solution.

Nevertheless, do you have several email accounts?

If so, do you remember which one you gave to TER when you first joined?

That's where your password probably is.

I used an obscure email account when I started and one day opened it and to my surprise, found several emails from TER to me that I had forgotten about.

I keep a hidden "Word" file with ALL my website account data listed. With all the On-line banking, credit card accounts, E-Bay, discussion forums etc to remember ID's, passwords, respective e-mails and security questions/answers for it is only logical to keep a clandestine list handy when brain-farts occur.

There's no real security advantage to keeping the file 'hidden'. That's just a filter that offers only basic protection from a lay person looking at your computer. If your system ever gets compromised (smart spyware, malware, or other methods) that file will literally let someone into your life far worse than most forms of identity theft (based on the information you say it contains). At the least, if you believe you need something like this, encrypt it (password protect). Also, I'd buy an encrypted flash drive and keep the file there so at least you have some sort of double encryption. (password to get into the drive, second password to access the file)

I'd recommend investing in some sort of good, secure, password vault software if you have a hard time keeping all this information straight and must keep it written down. At the least, please don't think that simply hiding the file offers you anything more than cosmetic protection.
