Just wondering - how long after the initial contact (me emailing or calling and leaving a message) is reasonable for me to wait for the provider to contact me back?

Is the lack of return contact indicative of a lack of interest, or is she just busy and possibly my contact gets lost in the bustle?

(An aside, what do most of you say in your first contact emails/messages?)
