Chat: Purple Icons ??

Next to some providers names appear PURPLE icons
one with circle on top of triangle &
one with circle on top of box

Are these providers on-line or availible for chat indicators?  They are NON-clickable.  And don't seem to correspond to who is in old/normal chat room.  By the way, I never see anybody in TER MESSENGER BETA chat.

If you go over the purple icon with your cursor, it'll read either "Provider is Online!" or "Provider is Away!".  Click on whichever profile you are interested in and, in the top right corner [of the profile], click on the "Online Now!" link and chat :-)
